Your ATX PSU outputs 120v to your mobo

First of all, I'd be somewhat surprised if that use isn't contraindicated by the owner's manual. Secondly, I'm about 30% sure that isn't OSHA compliant.

So yeah.

Well, it would be 12V DC.

Exactly, 12V DC instead of 3V DC from two C or D batteries.

If this post were any more ATOT, it would be a quantum singularity that would collapse in upon itself under the weight of its own nerdiness.

sadly I must attempt to reach that singularity.

The PSU doesn't send 120v to her man replacement. Looks like she was making it go for one of the lower voltage lines, like a 3.3v or 5v line, maybe 12v.

Could have been 24v if she grounded the dildo to -12v.

True, but most of the -12v lines are only specified to handle a small amount of current, IIRC. Same with the -5v lines.

If it's enough to drive a 120mm fan then it should be enough for a dildo.

Anyone willing to try?

That was stupid. It's not clever, it's just using sex to sell at the basest level. And I have nothing against using sex to sell, mind you, but there was nothing remotely clever about that ad. It's like the marketers were thinking, "Hmmm, it's a power supply, what else takes power? VIBRATORS! Get me a hot chick!" Just dumb.

Cute chick though.

Over 1:30 for one small joke? No wonder it was banned, assuming it's REAL.

No, Axe commercials suck too. It's not that the girl isn't hot, she is, it's just lack of creativity. We get pitched with sex to sell stuff so much these days it gets rather blase after awhile.

Finally saw it. It's more than banned... It's not legal to air and was never intended to (it's not like Duracell approved of it). It's bad enough that it's a commercially made video distributed online.

So if you were having it and not having to watch it, it would be ok?
