The guy who bought the ball is complete idiot. To pay 750K, then come up with stupid things to do with the ball is moronic. The guy looks like a fool. And a fool who is 750K lighter in the wallet.
I'm guessing you know nothing about business and even less about human nature. Trust me, this is a worthwhile expenditure on his part.
Can you actually clarify this statement you just pulled out of your ..........
Absolutely.
1. Mark Ecko has plenty of money that he won't be hurt by a 3/4 million dollar loss. The value of money is relative. Try to remember that.
2. This is being talked about all over the place. That means exposure for him and his clothing line which equals sales, and don't doubt for a second that it will.
Actually, I'm starting to wonder if you've even read the article or know who he is. You do realize that he's a businessman with his own clothing line and not just a random guy with too much money right? Because if you know who he is to say that this is a foolish waste of money is just plain ignorant, and I honestly mean no offense by that.

Huh? 1st he wasted 750K, plain and simple. You don't think he could have gotten the same publicity if he would have donated 750K to a multitude of other causes? Obivously you know nothing about business, let alone publicity. He will get just as much negative publicity as positive. His business will not profit from this at all. If you knew anything about human nature you would understand how foolish of an act this is. But you understand him though , I guess it takes a fool to understand one.

No it was not a waste to him. Thats subjectively your opinion on the matter. Which we can see why you feel that being that you aren't going to achieve a fraction of what this guy has in your lifetime. Let alone ever be able to afford any type of art or collectible of this value. Secondly, everyone knows any publicity is good publicity. I doubt there was a better way for him to spend 750k of marketing dollars. If you could propose a more efficient option you should probably be in marketing. I know human nature pretty well which is why I understand why you hate him and his decision. jealousy. envy.

Dude no one is jealous. If you want to talk about jealousy, look at all the dumb m'fers lined up to hate a ball player who they think cheated, but yet can't produce one positive test no where. Know anyone who fits that jealous crowd? 2nd everyone knows that in todays world not all publicity is good publicity. This is not even about Bonds actually, but about a person who wasted money to try and show up a ball player. How useless is that.

Actually, feed the ball to an elephant, then give it back to Bonds after the elephant shits it out.Originally posted by: Laminator
Pay someone to EAT the ball. Yeah, that's right. Have someone EAT it. Yeah.
