I have a aqxea which can hit 2.45@1.85 (watercooled), my current 2 in my dual K7d manage 2.26 (aqzea i think) @ 1.75v they would probably go higher but PSU is being pushed to the limit.

hey guys,

I just bought a new CPU/board for my backup computer.

I picked up a Barton 2500+ and the Asus A7N8X ver.2.0 board. So far, I'm able to do 2.2ghz (11 x 200) on default voltage (1.65) and havn't bothered to try and go any further.

What do these things usually max out at OC wise? Is there any way now to check the stepping # printed on the chipwithout having to open up my comp. again and take off the heatsink?

I forgot to check the stepping as I didn't really care about OC'ing this particular computer, but alas I got bored and found it seemed to overclock very nicely at default voltage

NickE : Thats great , cause ive got the EXACT same setpping AQZFA 0335 ... so theres a reasonable chance that i could hit near that with the right cooling setup

right now im at 10 x 210 @ 2100 MHz i can run at 36º/38º Idle and go up to as much as 48º/51º when running Prime95.

vCore 1.75v
vDimm 2.70v

Ram @ 6 - 3 - 3 - 2.5

I know I'm going to sound stupid...but how do you find which one is your cpu? I just bough a 2500 and I'm asking where to look!

Some of these results are sad. I have a AQZEA week 0313 that does not hesitate to do 3200+ at stock voltage and to do 2.5 at 1.8v. I knwo that is a huge hike in the volts but anything less and it will only do in the 2.4's.

I have an AQXEA 0324 Barton running at 2.2GHz. My PSU is being pushed to the max though so I might get a bit more out of it when my Turbo Cool 510 comes in.

I just got a AQXEA 0331 from Newegg. It does 11 x 200 at stock voltage on a Shuttle MN31N with no problems at all.

I just got one of those. I have to replace my mainboard and RAM to even think about doing that.

Just got one from Newegg Week 30XMsomething AZXEA step.
2.3Ghz at 1.70v with passive watercooling (Temp is 47Idle and 51 Full Load)
