I know I shouldn't be complaining...I have a new Barton 2500+ that overclocks to 3200+ speeds (2200) at 1.7v 100% stable.
I was hoping to push the chip further, however it's multiplier-locked, and even a moderate FSB boost to 205mhz results in instability, even at 1.7v. My ram is Hynix PC3200, and the mobo is an Asus A7N8X Deluxe R2.0.
Is there a possibility that this chip is somehow FSB locked as well? It doesn't make sense that I can't overclock even slightly over 200mhz FSB. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
