Interesting, but I still liked the price of my $88 retail XP2500+Barton from Newegg... IMHO, it ain't worth the extra $50 approx for the small inc in speed.
Initially, at least, they were NOT planning this...2500, 2800, and 3000 models were it. Something does not seem right about them releasing a new barton that is not top of the line. I'd look for a bit more info before touching this.
