On a side note, the release mentioned that initial availability would be through NEC computers in Europe and its consumer products division, Packard Bell. I thought Packard Bell was long dead!!

It was my understanding that only the U.S. division of Packard Bell went out of business. They are still around everywhere else in the world.

The Athlon XP 3000+ is a joke. If the 2200+ is 1.8GHz then the 3000+ should be 2.333GHz. What a rip-off!:|
