10 of my coworkers/friends are doing a double tailgate next thursday. Can't wait!! We're hitting up the Dodgers @ padres at 12:35+tailgating, then riding the train up to Anaheim for the A's @ Angels at 7:05+tailgating. Dang, we're all going to be so tired/wasted by the end of the night...

He was totally out of whack today. Not as much pop on his fastball and his control wasn't there. He didn't strike anyone out too.

Happy about the Mets win. Johan was sharp and the new Mets bullpen looked great (so far).

Lol, they're one savvy organization with a long track record of success and they've put together a decently promising team that should contend, at least for awhile, in the NL East.

And I LOVE the wise way they don't play "blame the manager" but just let Bobby Cox amiably do his thing.

I feel like, in baseball, managers have more potential to do harm with their egos/personality in clashes with today's entitled and overpaid players than they have the potential to do good.

What I mean is, you don't need an intense intellectual genius as manager so much as you need a laid back, good 'ol, emotionally secure, true baseball guy whom the players trust and feel ok with.

Baseball smarts and baseball empathy with your players are more necessary than a high general IQ is, imho.

DODGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Game starts very soon! Man, I just drove by Petco Park, and there's a bunch of people. I was happy to see some dodgers fans wearing dodger-blue in SD I'm going to head to Petco tomorrow and/or wednesday to be among the few that'll cheer for Dodger-blue.

As much as I love the Rays and want them in the AL, the Red Sox are still the team to beat. I'll pick the Phils in the NL, but I think Atlanta will surprise people this year.

I'm going to see the Mets @ Marlins on Sunday. We also have tickets for a Yankees game later in the season.

We wanted to go to the new Yankees and Mets stadiums, but I don't think we'll be able to make it this year.

Seeing Philles @ Nats next week, first one of my 9-game package. Usually go up to Baltimore a couple times a year too to see a game there, but with going to the 9 games in Washington I don't know if we're going to make it. Maybe grab some cheap seats for one game. I love Camden Yards.

Going to my parents' house for a little while this summer, I should check to see if I can get to Pittsburgh. I've been wanting to see PNC Park.

i was at the game yesterday and trust me, you wont be in the minority cheering on the dogs. i wouldnt go as far as saying it was a 50/50 split but it was pretty damn close.

A single tear streamed down my face.

Probably the only time this year there are more O's fans than Yanks fans, unfortunately.
