Lol, they're one savvy organization with a long track record of success and they've put together a decently promising team that should contend, at least for awhile, in the NL East.
And I LOVE the wise way they don't play "blame the manager" but just let Bobby Cox amiably do his thing.
I feel like, in baseball, managers have more potential to do harm with their egos/personality in clashes with today's entitled and overpaid players than they have the potential to do good.
What I mean is, you don't need an intense intellectual genius as manager so much as you need a laid back, good 'ol, emotionally secure, true baseball guy whom the players trust and feel ok with.
Baseball smarts and baseball empathy with your players are more necessary than a high general IQ is, imho.
