JonnyGuru's review of the ENP-5140GH power supply, the model just below this one at the Geeks and Newegg being discussed.
As proof, I'll provide pics of my ps......(purchased from ewiz as they were the only resellers when I bought mine....).....after I get it out of its current home, a computer running an E7200 cpu @ 3.6GHz, 4GB RAM, 2 HD's, a 4850 video card, and a Gigabyte 965-S3 motherboard.
Close up of 5150GH ps label.....sure looks like one to me......
The ENP-5150GH laid out in all its glory.....but what are those two sets of wires on the right????
Why, first there's a split 20+4 poin main power connector for the motherboard....
Lo and behold.....a SPLIT 4+4-pin +12V ATX power connector.....the one that's not supposed to exist! Hmmmmm...
Well, there you have it. At least what I was sold and its cables.
Now, did Enhance change the cables after I purchased mine? Maybe, but why would they? It'd be almost cost prohibitive and rather limiting in its sales. On the other hand, since Enhance is a large OEM supplier to a LOT of other power supply rebranders, possibly these at the Geeks were built-to-order and eliminated the split 4+4 ATX connector. Dunno...I just know what I've got and how it's configured.
i'm sure what you're saying is true in your case, but it's hard to dispute 2 clear pieces of evidence that geeks has provided us - the pic and the description.
it isn't hard to believe that enchance has a different model.
and the blow out price they're willing to let these go for make me think that these are 8pins that they couldn't sell at regular price.
