Why are they losing? (Poor shooting? Lack of defense? No rebounding? Or is Aregentina having a great game?)

Honestly, the big issue is the international game is A LOT different than the NBA game. The US is the superior team every game but even watching these international games, the officiating is terrible and the way the game is played is a lot different
Duncan is a perfect example. Simple thing like arm bars in the post are giving him cheap fouls and he can't play at all cuz of foul trouble.
Another big different is charges. The international teams try to take them all the time like the college game in the US. The NBA game prevents charges underneath with the circle so our guys are trying to block every shot.
Compared to the Pistons or the Lakers (well the Lakers of last year)? I seriously doubt it!Originally posted by: Achtung

Argentina is actually one of the best teams in the world. I'm not all that surprised given some of the poor results we had earlier in the tournament.

BTw..
FUCK Ginobli and WOOO Marbury.
I agree with what you said in the big picture, but I was referring to this game in particular. I was just wondering if the US was having a poor shooting game or if their defense was getting shredded.Originally posted by: nitsuj3580
