Bastion was one of the best games of 2011 for me in terms of emotion, so I am looking forward to this game.

The one thing that I'm not terribly clear on is the gameplay. It appears to be isometric, but the camera is even further out than Bastion or other isometric games like Diablo. Also, it appears that they turned the JRPG stereotype on its head by giving the compensating-for-something sword to a female character instead of the usual brooding male character.

Glad they're getting something new out there, but I guess when they said "We aren't doing another Bastion" I was expecting a more substantial departure from Bastion, not just "It doesn't look like it but it'll play like it". Oh well, still looks cool anyway.

Supergiant's art direction is incredible. I've been hoping for a long time now that the bigger studios picked up some cues from indie devs in this department. I'm sick of all the drab realism infecting mainstream games.

Bastion was one of my favorites, I hope Transistor is anything like it. Will be playing it on my PS4 though..
