I downloaded and installed a GNU port of GCC for win32 platforms. However, I do not want to have to browse to the installed directory to run it (I run it through the command line).
You run it like this:
g++.exe <path to input> <path to output>
At the moment I have a .lnk (shortcut) file and a .bat file in the WINNT directory. At the moment I can execute the compiler from anywhere in the system via the command prompt by typing g++ (which calls the .bat file) OR g++.lnk (which runs the shortcut).
Unfortunantly I cannot use command line parameters with batch files... so
g++ <path to input> <path to output>
does not work, however
g++.lnk <path to input> <path to output>
does work.
I want to be able to type
g++ <full path to input> <full path to output>
at the command line from anywhere in the system and have my file compiled...
Is there any batch file command or something that will allow me to use parameters with it or something?
...thanks...
