I liked it. I think they set up a good premise for why they would fight and also how Wonder Woman integrated into the story. I can see where some people would have faults with it, but I over all enjoyed it.

I'll be seeing this next week. I think Affleck is a competent actor just not an especially good one. If his character here has the typical affectless role that seems to be the rule for this sort of movie, that's not a hard thing to master. So of course he's going to seem like he did a great job.
I'll be interested to see if he has any scenes where he has to demonstrate any actual emotion.

I'm really confused how Batman just drops his whole beef. "Your mom's name is Martha? My mom's name is Martha!! What was I thinking, best friends forever!!!"

we came out thoroughly impressed! its truly an amazing action movie. not sure why people are giving it a hard time.
Well it was kind of sudden and not entirely obvious, but the thing is he had visions related to it, and realized that Superman was more human than he thought (because he loved his mom and was willing to do anything to save her). It really had nothing to do with the name itself, but until he told him she was his mom he wanted to know how he knew his (bruce's) moms name.

Naa you didn't zone out that bad, that was some seriously bad writing.I must have zoned out, the only visions I remember him having were all the "Superman is going to kill us all unless you stop him" type. The closest to normal was when the Flash was breaking through the time barrier (I think that is how that could go?) and was telling him he was right about "him". Even that lead us and him to believe that Superman must be killed. The moment he changed and became BFFs was really bad. He literally just went from about to using the magic spear to suddenly teaming up. No explanation, no real overcoming whatever.
Depends on what you thought of both of those movies, Daredevil is complete crap, MoS is just meh crap. I'd put it closer to MoS.Okay..for those who have seen it. How does it compare to Man of Steel? How does it compare to Daredevil (movie)?
