hi, so i've been having problems recently with my Samsung Galaxy S3. when the phone is anywhere between 0-70%, opening any app that uses the camera causes the screen to flicker and the phone to shut down - in a way similar to if i just yanked the battery out while it was running. i'm fairly certain it's the battery's problem, so i have a few questions regarding this:
first, i'm planning on buying a replacement battery off of a high-rated seller on ebay or amazon. would any 3.8 V Li-ion battery suffice (that fits the S3 obviously)? should it be 2100 mAh like the stock (factory) battery specifications or can i get something with higher mAh value? or would i be better off with an original battery straight from Samsung? i'm considering getting something less than $5, but am willing to spend more if needed.
secondly, what can i do to prevent such a thing from happening to my battery again? i've been told not to leave the charger in for too long (like when i'm sleeping), as well as not to unplug the charger when the battery is at 100%. are there any other tips to maximize the life of the battery?
