Ok here is the situation... I have lying around a total of six 6-volt batteries. I was playing around with two of them and runing them at 12-volts in serial configuration. I was using this new voltage to do some electrolysis and other experiemnts (I know, I wish I had better things to do at the moment, but I'm really bored and was just having fun.) Ok here is my question. If I run all six-volt battieris in a serial config making roughly 36 volts, is that putting any stress on thh battieres themselves. I understand the wires connecting these batteries would be taking on more flow, but not sure about the batteries themselves. I thought it might be interesting to try electrolysis at that voltage. Are there any precautions that I'm missing. (I am very ignorant at this battery stuff). Battieries exploding? Me shocking myself with this 36 volts? Or is this to small still?. I would apprecaite any info that would be great.
Thanks
