Battle.net

Hi all

I am on a network where we use novell to log on to the net.

The problem is that when I go into Wasrcraft 3 or Starcraft and click on battle.net it say can not connect. Check if you have an active internet conection.

I was wondering if I there was a way for me to tell warcraft3 or starcraft to use the proxy server we use to connect or is it not possible.

may wanna check and make sure you have the other protocols installed. Never tried it on novell since if I did I'd prolly get in trouble at work... (but I can go on all the forums I want )

To use Battle.net you need to have the TCP protocol installed. You will also need to open up the relevant ports on your router/firewall.

Uhm.. I hope you guys know Novell Netware is TCP/IP now. You probably couldn't connect to Battle.net because the UDP port 6112 is blocked by BorderManager (a firewall by Novell).
