I think there was a general misunderstanding of the recoil mechanics. People who were using microbursts like in bf4 were having a bad time.

Well listening to him explain it made my head hurt, but I think he is right. Funny thing, right after I watched that video I ended up in a server with him (SYM Duck) playing BF1. He and another SYM player was in there and we were always the top 3 even though I could never get into his squad.

Im pretty bad to spray even in BF4 unless Im shoooting at longer ranges, so this shouldn't be too hard for me to get a handle on. LOL

Bolt action rifles, at point blank range, only do 60 damage...but increase to 100 damage at a "sweet spot" that dice picked in order to promote long range standoffs. But at the same time implemented bullet drag that slows down a bullet the further it goes.

The 60 damage @ point blank instead of 100 makes no sense, but that's been the way all BF's have been on normal servers.

The rest of it makes sense to me; the "sweet spot" is out to the effective range of the rifle, beyond that bullet drag will reduce velocity and damage.

Desert Combat was great.

Unfortunately for some of us, people want a faster paced FPS which I understand. People don't want to have to take 5min to get to the battle just to die. I just love vehicle combat of Battlefield still.

Was my favorite of all time for the BF series. How Dice handled the devs of it really pissed me off. Swore them off for a while, but can't hold a grudge forever.

I am very excited about this game. Will get it for PS4 and PC. Because nobody seems to allow one account for two systems which is annoying but whatever. Have to double level up, ugh. Just ordered Asus's 34" curved monitor for it. Gotta upgrade the system now though. Hoping it looks amazing on it.

Don't try and rationalize it too much. LMG also get more accurate the longer they fire. Its just trying to make each weapon most effective in a certain range band/playstyle.

But it seems they are working hard to screw it up, they released a patch that has introduced new bugs and it now crashes when quitting. But never fear, Im sure they will have it "fixed" to where it crashes on startup by the time the open beta is out.

Well technically I don't have one either.

And to be honest the crashing on quitting is a good thing, since it takes forever to exit the game otherwise. LOL

If my rig pimps this game at 1440 I'm not buying anything unless my CPU actually breaks or something. I'll consider it a $2,000.00 gift from DICE.

You will be fine, it doesn't seem to be any more demanding than BF4.
