Hi guys. I bought a radeon 480 last night and got an email offer for bf 1. It says if i redeem before oct 18th ill get access to bf 1 3 days early and get additional battlepacks. If i redeem after oct 21 ill get deluxe edition upgrade. Does that mean the same thing but ill get in 3 days early if i apply the code before the 18th? Just wondering which offer is better. Sorry not too up to date on this game.

My offer is not the full game. Just an upgrade from the standard edition of the game to the deluxe edition. You would still need to buy the 59.99 edition of bf1 to apply the code and the code would upgrade you to the 79.99 version. That said im not certain yet if im going to buy bf1. If i dont ill give the code to some one at random when the time comes.

I didn't buy mine based on the free game, but it took some of the sting of laying out $430 for a card. Which one did you go with? I was going to get the MSI Gamer-X, but ender up with Asus Strix.

I got the EVGA Super Clocked though jet.com with a 10% off coupon, ended up being $357 after shipping. If I had went though newegg I could have gotten GoW4 but it would have cost me $400.

Good deal I tried buying though jet.com with that coupon for the MSI GPU but my card kept getting declined and my attention span grew shorter. So I ended up on newegg, paid more but my card wasn't declined.

At launch, I bet DX11 will be a safer bet for performance. After a DLC or two, it will probably be a good time to switch to DX12. The DX12 version of the game at Open Beta was super rough.

Who knows, in the beta DX11 had a massive memory leak bug that caused the game to crash for me after 20 minutes. DX12 didn't have any problems.

Why do you say it was rough?

CD keys has it for $43. Is it legit? It states origin. My friends are getting it for ps4 but I didn't upgrade my PC for nothing so I want it on computer.

For those on the trail. The time counts down when the game is launched. Do NOT launch the game when the game says it is, "Ready to Play". At that point you can go into the game and play the streaming install portion of the game. Maximize your game time by letting it fully install.

Other players will have a small advantage during chaotic scenes because their image will be more clear, but if you aren't super competitive, then honestly 30min/60 average is perfectly playable. The game will function and you can play fine.
