Just finished playing my 2nd hour on the 10 hour demo.
There is a 10 hour demo? I looked around last night on Origin trying to find a demo/trial and couldn't find anything. Would love to try it out for 10 hours before buying...

You had to subscribe to ea access for 4.99 a month to get the trial. I did that and cancelled after I bought the game. There is a 10 hour demo? I looked around last night on Origin trying to find a demo/trial and couldn't find anything. Would love to try it out for 10 hours before buying...
I try to join friends online but few are usually playing during my odd playing hours. I get to squad up with Canbacon from here more than anyone, and we work pretty well together.
And now another turrible teammate story, this morning's idiot takes the cake!!!
While playing Operations we were attacking and slicing thru them like butter, had 3 superb rated attacks (id never saw that before) before we were finally stopped for the first time. Then next round the defenders got a train (WTF, never saw that before either) which covered a wide open flag which in turn stopped us again. Now we get the train for the final push, and lo and behold a total window licking moron gets in the driver's seat, he helps cap flag A, but then just sits there......he wont move up to cover B which is on high ground and surrounded by their entire team since this is their final stand. We still came close to capping it a couple times but came up short. Now if that idiot train driver would have listened to any of the polite asking that soon turned into venomous RAGE being hurled his way by half the server, and had moved up just a little so the gunners could have helped us...................@$$%&*$(^*%&)(&%&%*()%^$^&*@@@!%%%###!!!!!
Concur, same issue with my GTX770. System performance is fine but the random crashes are really frustrating.I got the DX hung error w/ Nvidia. Im getting it every 15-25 minutes. System performance is sluggish. I'm not the only one:

Does not matter if its Dx11 or 12.
It was on two desert maps, but neither were in the beta. It was in Operations mode, a game sort of like Rush only larger. The attackers try to take objectives and if successful on one map, the game will continue on through another full map. Attackers get three chances to do this with limited spawns. Is that the desert map that was in the beta? Saw similar stuff like that a few times myself. What I learned in playing that map for 8-10 hours was, ignore flag/point Charlie (the AAA guns area in town). All the other points are more defensible/quicker to get to.
I've noticed this too the past few nights. Pumped a full clip from my assault weapon into an enemy and no hit points. Did the same with my medic weapon and only about 2-3 hits register. Definitely is frustrating because they end up killing you anyway or someone around them gets you. It seems to happen at random times too.hit detection in this game is GARBAGE!
I've lost count of how many shots i've seen hit an enemy and then not register. its really noticeable with semi auto and bolt action rifles and its VERY frustrating.
not only that but then I get shot while behind walls and cover all the time

i'm doing quick matches so i assume i am being put on different servers. every time i've looked at my ping when this happened it's in the high 20s.It's not just you but the solutions is to find a different server. This has been an issue with BF for as long as I can remember. Some servers, even with the same hardware, seem to be worse than others.
Yea I felt that way too. They don't have a lot of variation.Anyone else getting bored with the maps quickly? They all seem to follow the same pattern with a single jungle and city setting. I don't ever get "lost" in a map since they seem very easy to navigate.
Most egregious hit detection problems come from players with high pings, anyone with a 120ms or more ping will give you fits. They are NOT exactly where your screen tells you they are. They good ones learn to compensate for their lag and will run circles around you. This also explains the dying you experience after you feel you are behind cover. Go to a Euro server, or somewhere where your ping is at least 100 - 150ms higher than the average local player and you will see what I mean. Once you get the feel of it, the local players can hardly touch you. This has always been my biggest gripe about the BF games. The servers definitely need ping limits.i'm doing quick matches so i assume i am being put on different servers. every time i've looked at my ping when this happened it's in the high 20s.
Since all the current servers are DICE official server, I can't see them being that different other than physical location. It's not just you but the solutions is to find a different server. The bar is a very good one but I feel the ammo amount sucks. Only 20 rounds and sometimes the hits don't always register. I believe the storm mg is also better but doesn't have as high of a damage. My experience with the MGs leads me to think they need a massive boost in damage. It shouldn't take 5 shots to kill someone, despite portable MGs at the time using full size rifle rounds like the 8.8 Mauser, when the bolt action rifles themselves can kill in a single hit at times. It's fucking ridiculous. If DICE is worried about such a move, then they can increase it's recoil and shot spread to "balance" it out. I'm just tired of my long range shots doing jack shit in damage only to get single shot death in return.
Profile settings within origin I suppose?Any idea how to add the profile pic that shows up at the end? I downloaded the smart phone app, but it doesn't include that option.

Its also kinda hard to see a player with a triple digit ping in BF1 because the first digit will be covered by the little bar thingys on the scoreboard screen, so check closely.
This is why I go full anti vehicle load out, I assume they were in tanks or something . never understand how the rest of my team is OK with a guy having a score like that, if I see that I'm gunning for him the whole round. If just a couple guys fired AT roctets at the same time he'd be dead but usually it's just one guy trying to do all the AT work.wow, just lost a game where 2 guys on the enemy team went 57/0 and 54/1
Yep, I cant wait for that and hardcore! I already find it easier to take down people in this game compared to previous BFs on normal, hardcore will make this game epic!Just wait for the rental servers. They are coming soon. That means scripts like ping limits and real admins to boot toxic players.
