Customized my tanks. Didn't even know about the howitzer light tank. I was starting to accumulate a lot of War Bonds. Gone now.

Just checked the game and you can't customize the vehicles from the menus, just the soldier. Not sure about the app.

Killed a guy with the medic syringe the other day, it took about 4 stabs from behind, luckily the guy just sat there firing his LMG as I pumped his body full of morphine lol

I dont play but damn this was funny as hell.im guessing he dropped with a smile on his face.

Really been enjoying the Henry Martin infantry rifle thingy, basically an elephant gun haha. I actually one shotted a pilot with it the other day it was a one in a million random shot but it's why I always shoot at airplanes you just never know !

So all the items in the Battle packs are useless, and it's better to cash them in for the credits, so you can get actual weapon upgrades in the multiplayer menu?

I think so, most are just skins I have found out. Very rarely I got an actual item.

you never get an item (weapon or gadget) in the battle packs. they are only for skins for existing guns, squad xp boosts, or puzzle pieces to unlock 2 different melee weapons. The puzzle pieces are extremely rare and you need several for each melee weapon.

Okay, I have to stop playing for those stupid medals. "Wasted" two days -- if you can call it that -- trying to get medals when I told myself to stop. I'm actually managing top 10 finishes now when I'm not sniping or focusing on medals.

Not sure about all these new tanks I just opened up. I actually prefer the base models I thought I was stuck with.

Yep! I just about always fire a shot or two at any plane that comes close to me. Ive sniped pilots and even taken down entire planes that way, damaging a wing goes a long way towards destroying a plane.

Plus it just feels cool, like you're in a real battle or something. Did you know that many historians believe that the redbaron was actually shot down by a rifle bullet fired from the ground instead of another pilot ? The way the bullet entered his body says that the trajectory was from below the plane. Pretty cool huh ? I bet that random guy firing at that low flying plane had no idea he would KIA the red baron himself !

I had never heard that, that's pretty amazing if that's really how they finally got him. The guy on the ground probably didnt have a clue that he had even hit the plane let alone the pilot!

Yeah ! The red baron was so badass though that even while mortally wounded he still managed to land his plane in a field.

I just realized the hard drive I have both BF4, BF1 , and Origin installed on is on my Crucial III 6.0 GB/s SDD connected to a 3.0 Sata 2 port on my motherboard when it should be on a Sata 3 port. I am guessing that is my problem. Will report back....

I think its about time to call a spade a spade. This game is just not as good as BF4 to me. I know a lot of people said this game was dead after Bad Company or even Vietnam, but I really enjoyed BF4. I felt motivated to rank up. This game just feels like I have nothing to work for, and no matter how hard I try to get better, I am going to be killed by cheap random shit (even worse than BF4). I got really good in BF4, but this game seems completely out of balance. The random in your face spawns, not knowing what kind of mess you are getting into when you select a squad mate to spawn in on, and long range rifling vs short range instant kills with no in-between is killing it for me.

Hopefully this is just frustration, and I get over it quick enough to continue playing and remember it "just a game" . I saw a lot of my friends playing titan 2, so I might just make the switch.

^Ya, insta kills are lame and the game tries to be "realistic" but doesn't. So, a shotgun blast or a few semi-auto rifle rounds can kill me, but I empty 10+ machine gun rounds into someone and they can just swing around and kill me.

It's why I like arcade-y games more like Team Fortress. Aside from being sniped or backstabbed or critical'd, it takes a while to kill things.

All light tanks look like rubber duckies...Heavy tank looks like a brick, landship is a bomb defuser.

Just finished the campaign. Wow it's intense. I like the "War Stories" presentation, too. Completely top notch. Can't wait for the French and Russian stories to come out.

The machine gun for Support really is crap. I had the opportunity to headshot a guy like 3 times in a row -- his head was peeking out over a barrier. Got the headshot indicator each time. Still didn't die. Someone else finished him off.

I don't get get that. I see the headshot indicator when using lmgs, smgs, etc and they are still alive. sometimes I see it multiple times and i'm like, wtf??? how do you survive multiple headshots?

I can't count how many times I've been shooting at a guy 1st from behind and he turns around and kills me. When I am getting shot like that my character turns into a turtle and can't turn or move worth shit.

The Lewis gun? The BAR is probably my favorite gun of all the classes. Just wish it had a 30 round mag.

A headshot is just double damage. So if a bullet does 15, you're just doing 30 with a HS. You have to be doing over 50 dmg regularly to kill them in a single headshot.

ah. i really do like the BAR when the bipod is out. that thing is amazingly accurate and strong. can snipe people from long distance with it.
when not on bipod, it's all over the place for accuracy.

BAR is great right up until you run out of ammo. I think it has the highest fire-rate (600 versus <=500 for others), good accuracy with bipod. The Benet Mercier (?) is the best machine gun with the best stats meaning best accuracy, control, and hip fire. There's a Lewis gun that has 100 rounds that is okay and a 200 round "suppression" machine gun that overheats if you fire ~40 rounds but I don't like the scope.

Other than the Benet Mercier, I'm dead if I ever run into someone a few feet away. I would like to use the 200 round LMG but this gets me killed all the time with it.

Edit: On another note, I'm feeling less guilty about chucking gas grenades these days. I try to space them out so only 2 are live at any point as Support. But they nerfed the mortar, not the gas grenades, so it must not be a problem then? It's useless the second people put a mask on though -- only takes out the nearly dead usually.
