Stop playing conquest and start playing operations.I basically stopped playing this game. Its boring AF! I've been playing BF4 lately again. My god that is so much better of a game. Its just so much more interesting. The environments in BF4 are more dynamic, complex and generally just interesting. BF1 is all the same; a bunch of busted rubble everywhere, copy and paste buildings and some hills. BORING!!! Omg I hate this game basically. Its a snooze fest. Everything about it is just so...boring! Its the first BF game I've only bought the base game. I won't be buying any expansions at all, ever. Vehicles are slow and boring. Guns are boring. Environments are bland, repetitive and you guessed it, boring.
Tanks and vehicles are slow, clumsy and yes, I get it, even authentic to the era maybe, however, a few commas in this sentence later, boring! I swear to all things holy, driving in a tank up a hill is the most boring, painful experience of my entire life. Its so slow, its like, before you get to the top of the hill, it would be faster to just get out of the tank, craft a wrench in minecraft, find a way to import the magical wrench into BF1, disassemble the tank, walk each part to the top of the hill, REASEMBLE IT, and then continue driving it. All of that crap equals boring. This game just sucks. Its boring.
Yeaa. Its outrageous effective for the win on operations.I recently unlocked the rsc optical and now the medic is my favorite class. I used always play assault with the heilrigger but now I'm like the guy from hacksaw ridge trying to save everyone that gets hit.
Only reason I decided to unlock it was because once I got the premium pass servers were still empty for hardcore mode so I just went and played regular.Yeaa. Its outrageous effective for the win on operations.

Even on regular mode you can do serious damage with the rsc despite it only having 5 bullets in the chamber. I was hitting headshots on snipers from super far away. Just look for their scope to glisten and aim in that area. If you are quick enough you will get them.
Is operations hardcore or normal mode? I forget because I only played them once. Not particularly a fan of regular mode conquest or rush since it takes a while to get to an objective and you are literally getting sniped from all over or screwed by tanks.
I like the medic loadout but I can't do anything about the tanks when they show up. And whatever team I'm on, the other players usually never take out the tanks. They will sit there and respawn on me and get pummeled with tank shells while I run around with my syringe.

Ofc there is trouble with very different player levels. Some good players flying planes and a few tank drivers can kind of dominate it but it gives ok dynamics. The problem is when the teams is unbalanced.
Operations is nice because you play a mode between conquest and rush and get to new objectives and maps. Gives more variety and excepts for a few placed you dont end up in those cluster situatikns where things locks up.its more varied and some maps lile verdun demand the attackers to use an actual strayegy
I think its the mode of the future. There is plenty playing it btw.

With the new update they made some server changes. If you go to server browser and select free slots 1-5 it will show all the several with people in them. Of course many of them are regular mode conquest or the dlc conquest maps. Every other mode seems to have empty severs. I can never find any rush severs available. I don't mind conquest on the they shall not pass maps as they aren't that big. My guess is that the game is more popular on consoles.Not sure what has changed, it has always been like this as far as I can remember. I play rush or war pigeons, always only 3 or 4 servers busy, rest empty.

Anyone else having trouble getting the game to start? Every time I try to start it from origin, it has the "launching…" Pop up window, briefly kicks back to desktop while it's processing, and then kicks back to the origin screen as if nothing happened. It simply will not launch the game.
I've tried restarting the system several times, I've waited a few days, no difference.
Yea there have been some major windows updates lately that I noticed on my desktop as well as the laptop. I usually ignore them until I turn off the PC and let it install the updates.Well, that appears to have solved it. I updated windows 10, and then the next time I ran battlefield 1 it said there was a UI update required. Quick update, and all appears to be working well now.
Ya, I think the whole rewards program thing is not very good. Maybe 10-year-olds are really into it, but it just seems like a waste of time changing the color of something. I did play the new night time map and it's pretty decent. They also changed how you achieve battle packs now. To me they are worthless as it's just skins.
I haven't played in a while. My roommate is usually on though on my account. Ever since I got the Oculus rift I've been neglecting a few other games too. Would be cool if this game had VR support.Man, hackers are really ruining the game. Almost every server I'm joining recently has a hacker on it.
