How does the voice chat work in game? Does it only play to your squad or your team, or can you specify it somehow?

does anyone even use it? very rarely do i hear other people talking

I have a ps4 gold headset I can use but never hooked it up to the PC. I do see people with voice icons next to their name. Most of the people I run across just type in the chat.

The combination to talk and what to press is kind of annoying.

I think voice chat is between squad mates only. In almost 20 hours of playing, I've heard less than 5 spoken phrases.

Yep it is I heard at least 30 spoken phrases.

Was in squad with 2 people who had mics. Was really fun when the squad works together!

I had a battlepack give me an error message and glitch out, removing the battlepack without giving me an item (100% confirmed no item). That's probably the only real glitch issue worth mentioning that I've seen. All in all, a great game and it's running incredibly well. I recall huge issues with BF4's release, although I don't quite remember exactly what the problems were I know DICE apologized for rushing it's release. Thankfully, it appears they learned their lesson here.

Operations is pretty badass. Just discovered it actually. Its a lot of fun, but my god do I suck. Feel like its my first FPS game ever. Can't see a damn thing and die instantly. Fun though. It got even more fun when I finally turned that damn FPS counter off and just played the game.

It's like the campaign mode from Red Orchestra 2 that uses multiple maps and matches before a winner is decided.

There are attackers and defenders, like in rush. You conquer flag points and make them tick down like conquest, but once captured, they are yours and the defending team falls back to the next group of flags to defend. If the attackers push them all the way back before their limited tickets are spent, the server moves on to a new map and the battle continues there. After about 3 maps, the battle is over and someone wins. That's about all I have learned so far. Its fun and intense. Feels more like a fight with purpose rather than just cap flags for the sake of capping flags. Its pretty well done.

The game mode is hidden though for some reason. You can't get to it through the server browser. You have to click multiplayer and then click the big box that says "OPERATIONS". I thought it was some stupid variation of the single player campaign. That's why I ignored it as long as I did. I had no idea it was the best part of the damn game.

It's only six missions or so I hear. I started it but my friend was playing and I'll need to start over because I missed some parts. From what I've seen this seems like one of the better campaigns.

Picked up the basic PC version last night. Liking the single player so far and want to see how many secrets I can find to unlock items in multiplayer.

It's more like six stories, each with a few missions inside. I went directly to the air/pilot story. The flying dynamics for this game is well done. Being its WWI era crafts I didn't have high hopes but was pleasantly surprised,

For those of you having no issues with frame rate, what is your settings and hardware? Im having hitches with medium settings 1920 x 1080 with a 770 and 3.1Ghz 2400k 16GB Ram. I get tick rate warnings and stuttering. I am thinking I must of fried my CPU when the heatsink was not on right and is now damaged. Though the CPU is now running cool,and I reinstalled windows, I am thinking that is the cause.

With this patch I was assault class 7 now I'm 3. But I updated my driver's to the latest Nvidia ones and am getting much better fps, well over 100 at some points.

I added you but origin usually is late telling me when people are online or not. One time it said a friend was online but when I exited the game and checked, they were offline.

That is odd I notice that too. I'm not that bad but I realized people were more friendly on console when I had battlefield 4.
