What registry edit? I have a 6850 and tells me it won't work even when installing newer drivers. Getting a 1070 soon because my current card sucks with my Asus 34" widescreen, but won't get it for about two weeks. Want to try it out now.

Even before playing... bought the ultimate edition. :/

i'm playing on win10 - i used windows update for the video driver, i didn't bother downloading one direct from amd
then i looked went to this key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SYSTEM>CurrentControlSet>Services>amdkmdag
under that there should be 0000 0001 ...etc.
under each one there should be a 'ReleaseVersion' entry, you'll see the old version, put in this for each one: 16.30.2311-160718a-299900E

EDIT: I don't think mine had "59622786-031F-4548-9793-F64C4A779CEC" exactly, but i believe everything else was the same to get it working

Follow this tree structure: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> SYSTEM> CurrentControlSet> Control \ Video> {59622786-031F-4548-9793-F64C4A779CEC}

Once there, look for the document "ReleaseVersion" in the files 0000 0001 0002 0003 0004 under the key-59622786-031F {4548-9793}-F64C4A779CEC.

Once found, change "ReleaseVersion" indicating the version of 16.20.1025.

I dunno, but one person having a clear view and the other doesn't seem fair does it? Could also be a .01% chance that it de-syncs or whatnot and it's a non issue

They had a similar issue in Planetside 2 with smoke. Since everyone is not playing with the same machine they need to let the client set the effects. Guess they need some kind of check on the client.

Tried to set up my load out on the website and almost every time I want to buy a weapon it says purchase could not be made. Anyone else experienced this?

They had a similar issue in Planetside 2 with smoke. Since everyone is not playing with the same machine they need to let the client set the effects. Guess they need some kind of check on the client.

They had something similar in BF3 or BF4. There is an option to reduce the amount of vegetation or something along those lines. But basically it allowed you to see people that thought they were behind a bush/tree because it rendered on their machine, but not yours.

I've noticed that Conquest servers now have no time limit. This is a huge improvement, in my opinion. Games are now much less TDM feeling, and even if your team in lagging by 50+ pts. the race to 300 pts. can be really fun.

EDIT: Looks like they also removed the timer on rush, so tickets matter now. Good.

Really? Removing the timer on Rush doesn't make sense to me. The only way to win is to destroy the objectives, so eventually the attacker would always win? Unless they add a ticket system (there isn't one in rush if I recall). The no time limit in conquest should be fun. I imagine the town will be completely leveled in a lot of games by the end.

Love the environmental destruction in this. (I haven't played BF since 1942, so pardon if this is already old hat in the series). Sniper shooting at you from the roof, blow up the building with the AT gun! I was playing rush and had setup shop on one point as support. Lobbing grenades, tripwires all over, hiding behind walls. I get killed and come back, where did my walls go? Entire point is exposed now.

OK guys this is beyond stupidity, i was just playing a game in BF1 BETA and got killed with a single shot 5 times by the same person with an MG15 light infantry machine gun. The first time it was at close range so i didnt gave much of attention, then i was on a plane and the same guy literally shot me down with a single head shot like he was a sniper with the MG15. Then the same guy killed me three more times all of them with a single head shot from a distance of 30 meters or more.
The same guy at the end of the round had 148 kills.

This got me research for AIM BOT and hacking on the BF1 and got the following,

If you think about it, beta is for both sides of this. Maybe EA has a trick up their sleeves to log the bots ahead of time.

Rush does indeed use tickets in bf1. Removing the timer is going to help encourage players to use the medic class and (hopefully) act as a team. If you're going to get steamrolled, then no timer is going to been moot. I've seen plenty of rounds end well before the timer ran down.

I think the thing that bugs me the most about the game is that people don't work together, generally way over-stack Scout/Sniper on a team (40% of a team snipers; those screenshots from BF2 in 2006 I posted earlier have like 3 or 4 snipers on the whole team), and don't spot. Public games, yeah, I know. But it's frustrating.

It would really be nice to find a server where people with brains played. I don't really want to invest time in a clan and have that kind of responsibility, but just playing with team-oriented people would be amazing.

Yea the controls on PC are a bit odd. Also having to hit f2-5 in some vehicles. I constantly mess up throwing a grenade vs putting on my gas mask. The flying part too with the mouse is annoying. Is there a way to get a front view in the plane? I feel like I can't see in front of me sometimes if I'm in the bomber.

Overall, having a blast playing so far. The vehicles are a little more team oriented so far which is a big plus. Yes, it helps racking up kills, but the biggest thing is capturing and holding flags.

I am not sure to get it on PC or ps4 because most of my friends will be getting it on the console. It would be nice to have multiplatform online play. On PC I am always by myself and I'm horrible.
