Anyone know if this game has a good single player mode? I'm on 56K and so online play may not be feasible.

I've been itching for a new game to take advantage of my GF4 TI4200, this may be it.

Single player missions are fine but not as exciting as MP ones.

their site has not been working for me all night and now this morning as well. I would not mind getting my hands on that game for so cheap... I just wish they were up to take my money Oh well, I shouldn't be spending it anway, not after just buying NOLF 2 and UT 2003

The heavy traffic on this site only tells us one thing, currently games are over-priced at least 50%. If the price of a new game is under $20, it will double the sells. Why don't they do that? Well, like music industry, the game industry is greedy. The fact is, most of the money we pay on games does not go to the game developer we like. The publisher and retailer pocketed most of the profit. The $50 average price for a new game is nothing but way too much.

To those who aren't aware, I warn you this game is extremely buggy but they are currently hard at work on some new patches (SO THEY SAY).

If your machine has a Geforce 3-4, 1+ Ghz cpu, and 512mb of ram or above you should be fine.

I have a B.S. in Marketing, and am in the process of getting an M.B.A. in Marketing/Finance. I still can't figure out how you can return a "CD with case only" package to CompUSA, where I bought a full retail version with a sealed box though. Maybe it takes a Doctorate Degree?

Marketing/Finance? You gotta be kidding. Doesn't look like to me MBA is suitable for someone like you. Give up before it's too late.

There are these things called "Dual Concentrations". You should really try looking into it. You can get concentrations in both Marketing Management, and Finance, with little more time and money invested. Please do some research before attempting to make people sound stupid!

I saw this thread and decided to buy it immediately - so I bought it and installed it last night.

This is a fantastic game. You guys are going to be happy with this one. As far as bugs go, I haven't hit one yet after about 5 hours of playing, so hopefully that is a false characterization.

The game is great, and the bugs are there although I would not call it buggy. Play it online for a couple of nights and problems will pop up. Their net code is not very solid, plus in some maps you will encounter some strange problems like you stand in the middle of nowhere and screaming.

Still it is a great game and they are working on patech 1.2 hopefully most of the problems get addressed.

I'm not sure what people are talking about saying this game is buggy, but I've played it for ~15-20 hours and haven't seen any problems. I'm running an Athlon T-Bird 1.4 w/512MB of PC2100 and a Gainward Geforce3 Ti 200 video card. Perhaps it is my "normal" configuration that makes things smoother, it seems that people with slower and stranger configurations have had the problems. The only problems I've ever had were a couple server disconnects, but that's usually due to a shoddy server. All in all, great game IMHO; a must-buy at this price.

vmrao, single player is fun, but the AI won;t play as a team, e.g. call in artillery strikes, ride in the ball turret of the B-17, or heal you in battle as a medic. Multiplay is way better but single player is fun too! I'm also limited to 56k.

For the rest of you who want in but watched gogamer get Anandtech'd into the ground try here.....
