This is a fun add-on. This is a fun addition if you're into sniping, etc.. The grappling hook and zip-line are both fun to put yourself into interesting positions and snipe the enemy.

Is the F2000 a better gun than the G3 by any chance, or is it just by preference?

I think it's more preference. The best gun is that medic one that you get with SF..I can't remember the name of it, but it's really powerful and has better accuracy than the G3 I believe.

But you fly through ammo. L85A1 is better as long as you can put a little distance between you and your opponent... but medics shouldn't be in close range situations anyway.

The G3 flys through ammo, too. You get 80 rounds total. I don't get why assault gun with the smallest magazine gets the least amount of spare mags. F2000 is a horrid gun at anything past a medium range, but I'd still take it over the G3.

Really it's all about what you get comfortable with and your style of play. All guns have their ups and downs.

I just LOVE the G36E! That gun OWNS! IMO, I think that's the best SF unlockable, next to the F2000! (Gotta love those flash bangs!)

I stopped playing when these expansion packs came out. Got sick of the damm flash bangs which I never had access to. This should have been a cheap upgrade from the start. Im in for 1, Thanks OP (PS my wife hates you and she doesn't even know it/you/why).

I have the G36E, it seems like almost every time I die it's by that gun. I don't like being the medic anyway, so I prefer my G3. At close range it unloads 10 rounds a second, then I use single shot for far shots.

G36E is teh pwnage! AK101 and M16 are a lot better than most people think, too.

Yeah, Doom 3 was a pretty good game. I think it was the first PC FPS I've ever played actually.
