Take some Pledge. yes the wood cleaner.
Spray it on all the Bf2 discs. Let it set for a few minutes. Then take it under warm running water and take a wet paper towel and take off the Pledge.
Pat it dry(dont rub). Then try.
if you still get the same problem. try it in another computer, if the problem persists, it would be the disc.
if not it sounds to me like a windows conflict. Then I would try to delete the EA folder or even reinstall windows if possible. Ypu might have some corruption someplace.
