I'm out... I am SICK of EA's crap. I got into BF42 late and I never realized how much went into getting that game to run right. After having so much fun with it, I bought BFV and it was alright. Sadly, the BF42 mod 'Eve of Destruction' was a better Vietnam FPS then EA was able to put out. Luckily, 'Eve of Destruction' was released for BFV (yes, we used to play a Vietnam mod on BFV).

Well, then EA came out with BF2 and I paid about $45 to be a beta tester. I haven't felt this insulted since Tribes2. It is sad the way that they added the Ranking system so that it now costs more money to run a 'Ranked' server. I imagine we will all have to give up our 'Unlock' weapons when EA stops supporting the 'Ranked' system.

I will not buy this game. I am just too tired. I have seen a nice signature at another forum.... It says 'Boycott BF2142 until EA fixes BF2'.

The horrible support for BF2 was enough for me not to buy 2142 before the spyware issue.

They dont even have a working server browser after 15 months ffs.

I really don't mean to threadcrap, and thanks OP for the good deal,

but if any of you are on the fence DO NOT buy this game. Check the demo yourself. It is pure crap and EA is publishing a mod for BF2 and selling it as a full new product.

Please do not let them think gamers will tollerate this crap.

to me the mod Desert combat that was for BF 1942 is all the BF2 was and this is just more modding of that.....same engine right ?

Anyways, if they want to do ads then LOWER THE DAMN PRICE to 19.95 or something worth letting you get our information to throw ad's at us
