Battlefield 3 64 Players on PC only and Jets confirmed

As everyone knows, the Jets in BF2 had a much further view distance than the lock-on range of the AA. This made the AA useless as it was out-ranged every time by a decent pilot. Any who says otherwise must have been playing POE where they actually balanced Air.

Exactly. Honestly I think most of the people who say otherwise were just jet/chooper whores in BF2. I never got good at it so I admit I was jealous. Must have been fun floating around up there owning everything. I used to spend entire games on AA, getting maybe one or two kills, just to annoy the jet pilots by lighting them up whenever I could. Same with playing spec ops just to chute into their air base and plant C4 on the runway. Anything to piss them off, since I couldn't kill them.

I wonder if they will penalize "C4-ramming", this is a waste of a vehicle that would not be tolerated in most armed forces.

Are you seriously comparing battlefield to real life? BF games are not meant to be realistic in any way. If your looking for that sort of thing play Arma.

Jihad jeeping is one of the best ways to counter enemy tanks and vehicles when they are spawnkilling everyone. Especially if no one feels like playing anti tank on your team.

I never used to like playing against jets so I used to just stick to maps that didn't have them. I used to play competitive BF2 so I never used to see them in matches anyway, hence I didn't need to learn how to cope.

Can't wait for this either case, even though it'll probably be borderline unplayable for the first couple weeks.

Question #2 - Will it be upgraded BC2

Question # 3- will they focus on Consoles more then they do on PCs.

Flying the chopper in BC2 is easy if you change your Pilot controls proper.

Please, PLEASE don't let this game get ruined by snipers like pretty much every online FPS. BC2 is almost unplayable at times thanks to the waves of recon.

The last thing we need in BF3 is all of the snot nosed kids who think they are awesome with thier noob cannons.

Make the sniper rifle poweful yes, but hard to use.

They can also limit class...but I find Snipers to be hard to use in BC2....but of course TONS of people using them.

They should do a system similar to DOD:S. Certain amount of spaces for certain class.

It will be if they will release it for consoles....

As long as its developed in DX11....which sounds like it won't happen, as it will be an upgrade to current BC2 engine (which is basically DX9 with DX11 sprinkle on it)

Im not sure why making the map bigger would change anything. What you might be trying to say is COD maps dont have big open spaces? Which is mostly true. But regardless snipers arnt an issue in COD games.

I never had a problem killing people that run around meleeing. MW2 multiplayer mechanics were pretty much perfect. I cant speak about Black Ops since they borked it for PC.

BF3 should be entirely different if it's anything like other Battlefields. Almost everything in BC2 is a choke point. Normal BF series didn't have choke points. Snipers in normal BF could do damage but weren't annoying like BC2.
