I got it to work by clicking 'Deals' in the top right first...and then proceeding with the $10 deal

You would want the digital deluxe edition if you dont already have BFBC2. It includes the game and Vietnam expansion, where as the other options are Vietnam or the game alone for $10 each. They should be cheaper, but this is a 10 year sale, so maybe they really wanted all BF items to be $10.

Definitely not for BF3, not sure about the earlier games, but I'm guessing not, as you're buying it through Origin, a competitor to Steam.

I think it was an innocent mistake - I just clicked and it seems to be working fine now.

BF 2 complete, BF 2: bad company including expansion, 2142 complete...

For me, it's a case of having bought BF3 for the 'great price' last holidays of $30 for BF 3 retail box and haven't even opened it yet, do I want to get this $10 and resell the retail?

Or that I have BF 2 and not sure which epxansions, but just get complete for $10 anyway? Also, you guessed it, not played yet.

On the one hand hard to justify, on the other great price.

So I downloaded and installed Origin and bought the game. The problem is, Origin insists on installing it on my SSD which I do not want. Wanting for this not to happen, I installed Origin on my HDD. I installed Steam on my HDD and I've no problems since it installs my games there.

Not home to check, but I think it's something like this:

Go to Settings > General > Downloaded Games (should be an option to choose location at the top right).

I should be able to run this on High, no (I know Ultra is out of the question)? My GTX 460 comes with an 850MHz clock, so it'd be just a tiny bit faster than a stock GTX 560.
