First impressions?

I'm experiencing lag every now and then on every server I've been to. Asked all the players in the servers and most of them replied they're experiencing lag as well.

It's Day 1 and everyone who preordered and purchased retail will be trying to play all at once.

I'd give it a couple of weeks to shake out a bit.

That shouldn't matter. There's only 64 slots on a server, it's not like there's gonna be more players on a server because it's day 1.

Caspian was horribly laggy in beta. It's just beta, continued.

I've been playing all day and haven't run in to any lag except on a couple servers from halfway around the world that I joined by accident.

Game is epic and runs incredibly well. Seine Crossing just might be one of my new favourite Battlefield maps of all time.

We still have the web game browser (which sucks)

Graphics are NOTHING like the videos (same as beta)

It runs smooth, I'm getting 60fps...but it BETTER run smooth as the game is little better looking than BC2. And by little I mean VERY LITTLE.

battlelog works great, do you not remember how bad bf2 and bc2's server browsers were?

Battlelog as a server browser is working great.

LAck of in-game VOIP is sucking.

Infantry combat isn't as smooth as BC2, and by that I meant smoothness of scoping, moving, etc, the field of view even.

it does seem twichy at times

FOV is changable in options in case you need to

sadly you cant turn off bloom(but I know how to fix that )
if anyone notices any other settings we cant actually change in game that are in the settings menu that we want/need to change, let me know

nor can jets/helos use separate settings for inverted. I use it for jets but got used to regular for helos in bc2

I turned mine up to 90

I could less lens flare on bright lights

vdub, it could be the dual 460's holding you back some, those are DX10 right? do you have everything cranked?

I have most everything turned up and it can stress my 6970 at 1080P

Crossfire 6950 2gigs running on ULTRA in Eyefinity and the graphics blew me away.. this does NOT look like the beta at all..

I think they must have certain levels of detail cut off to average systems.

runs super smooth at 5023x1020 for me.. and everything is looking amazing..

better than the promo vids..

Is it just me or is it hard to see enemies while scoped in/ADSing? Due to obstruction by the sight itself, I mean. Also seems to be a problem while firing AT/TOW but it's more due to the smoke trail in that case.

yeah, im not sure why its diff. for some people but my game looked effin amazing..highly detailed, very smooth. just as good as the promo vids if not better.

similar setup ... 6950 2gb x 2 in crossfire...looks gorgeous.
