It certainly is hot for people that want their games handled and updated via Steam, plus with this game squad play is very important so finding 3 friends to chip in is pretty essential. For $33 apiece it's definitely a good deal.

No not hot...Steam still can handle this game, you just add the key to your games...and saving $1 and depending on someone else to gift you a game...too risky, I'd rather spend the $1.

Doesn't work like that... unless BC2 was added to the list of games that can be added via cdkey, which i doubt.
