Just logged in to origin on my pc. No beta available but I got a pop-up to register for it so I registered for the 6th time for ps4. I hear tomorrow they are giving out destiny beta so at least I can hope to get into that. Always wanted to see what it was about because I would never be interested to just buy it when it's out.

I signed up initially and haven't so far been offered access. If EA has messed it up (likely) then so be it. I certainly wont be buying it from what I have seen of it so far.

I share your sentiment. I actually got into the beta, and even then I'm not in any rush to download it. To many other good multiplayer FPS games I'm playing right now.

I feel like after all the issues bf4 players had even on console sometimes although not as bad as pc, everyone should be allowed to get in this beta free. No way will I just buy it like I did bf3 and 4. Glad I got 4 on ps4 as I was about to get it on pc and then I read all about the problems.

I share your sentiment. I actually got into the beta, and even then I'm not in any rush to download it. To many other good multiplayer FPS games I'm playing right now.

The game mode is definitely unique. I think it would be better if it was more in the style of rush where there are attackers and defenders. Right now its really chaotic because both teams grab cash and try to secure it in their base. Just doesn't make sense for the cops to be going after the money to me. They should defend and try to get it back when its taken.

Yeah this just feels and looks like a BF4 mod. Only played about 4 games but Im not really digging it so far, as others have said its pure chaos. Its pretty easy to set up shop near the money pile/vaults and rack up kills, but getting away with loot is a PITA. LOL

There is no doubt that BF4 is a far superior game. I'm simply saying that to me the Hardline beta looks and feels like a mod created by enthusiasts from a BF4 sandbox. As it is right now there is no way I would pay to play this and since single player games don't really interest me anymore I don't foresee this game making it's way onto my PC.

After having played for about 4 hours, I'm going to give it a pass. The blood money game mode is actually a lot of fun, however the core gameplay mechanics suck, tbh, particularly movement and more importantly, gunplay. It feels floaty, and I just cant justify it, esp after the most recent netcode "fixing" on BF4.

Played it all last night.
1) Sniper weapons are way OP. One shot kills almost anywhere in the body vs easycore damage model for automatic weapons.
2) Seems like spread is all over the place with weapons. Even in short bursts its tough to land shots at range.
3)Player run speed seems.... slow
4) Meh graphics.
5) hard to tell what you can drive and what you can't. So many cars sitting around that look like you should be able to get in and drive.
6) WAAAAAAY too much downtime between rounds. Long timer on scoreboard plus load time plus a timer once you get in the game to allow people still playing on 5200rpm HDD to load.
7)The shield seem useless. Used it a few times and was getting shot through it all the time still.

I'd say the game is more of a alpha state. Wonder if the 'beta' will be limited time or if they'll continue it all the way until release? Unless a lot changes I won't be in any hurry to buy it. Maybe a half off sale.

Another 5GB patch today, not sure what it included but I had more fun with the game this evening. Heist is definitely more fun than Blood Money.

That's saying a lot since BF4's movement and gunplay are the worst of any FPS I've played in 20 years. If this is even worse than that....yikes.

Played a little and it's alright. The movement is wonky and as usual I'm not so good but it is fun. I think heist is good, blood money has way too much going on at once for me to plan a getaway. Overall it's not bad just does not look as good as bf4 and well it is a beta afrerall.

I can't believe they think this is a full game that warrants a $60 price. No way. This is a cops and robbers mod for BF4. I would do $15 at most for it as a DLC.

Yea unless the single player is long and has really good content. There will be 2 other online modes I believe but I don't know if I would pay full price. But whenever you have an online beta game you are only going to see that part, pretty much a small section so I don't know.

Tiranfall beta was basically the whole game lol.

quite a list. I would imagine if you went back and played most of those older games the movement and guns would not be as good as you remember.
