I'm liking the game so far, it feels more solid than BF4 ever was. However...the beta hasn't been out for an hour and every server I join has at least 2-3 blatant aimbot/kill everyone cheats. I know it's a beta but really...ffs.

All they have to do is increase the reward for killing it as well as the consequence of dying in it. Don't even have to touch power level.

I'm just saying air has been imbalanced in every title of the series. If they were going to fix it, it would have been fixed.

Only real annoyance I had today in the 4 games I played were the OP shotguns. No hardcore servers though and Im pretty sure HC would squash that.

Plenty of counters to air in BF4. If you are getting pwned by air vehicles there, you are playing it wrong!

I played it like i would play Battlefield,i know this is going about it wrong but even offering a Conquest mode simply makes me want to play BF4.Not a horrible game by any means but i want to shoot stuff,nothing really touches BF4 for gunplay honestly.

Been fun,hopefully it lands in the $20 bin perhaps before black friday cause i surely will buy it for that much.

I doubt its your 560 ti, I would look more towards a cpu bottleneck being the cause.

Much better than the previous beta. Not a fan of Dust Bowl though. Feels like a gimped bf4 map. Shouldn't have included it in the beta when they are trying to convince people that this isn't reskinned bf3/4.

Not a huge fan of Hotwire (fun at first, but seems really shallow and see myself getting bored of it real quick).

Conquest - might as well be playing BF4. No real difference there.

Heist - probably THE reason to be playing this game, IMO. Great fun chasing each other down.


As was mentioned, good times to be had, but not sure about the full entry price.

Yeah, yeah, pilots have been saying that for years.

While I am showing some improvement, Im hardly what you would call a pro BF pilot. Especially in the jet department.

In BF4 the mobile AA is devastating to begin with and when you do get on a roll in a helo everyone and their brother equips stingers, which BTW are full auto, or so it feels. LOL

I will say that the best counter to a good jet pilot is another good jet pilot, but a jets effectiveness against infantry is nearly non-existant anyhow.

Thanks, Ill be on the lookout for those next time! The Conquest server I joined today emptied out, so I spent what little time I had to play just doing stunts on a dirt bike for jump points.

I haven't played BF4 for the past few months, so I can't draw any comparisons there (I stopped playing not long after the netcode patch).

On its own, Hardline feels pretty crisp and accurate. No complaints from me.

Network smoothing kept at default (50%).

On a sidenote, I just wish the overall pacing of this game would be slowed down a bit. Frankly, it looks ridiculous how fast people move around, given how good the graphics are, IMO.

You can thank the COD kiddies for that. The droves of them that came over into BF3 whined until they made BF4 movement COD like, now its carrying over into hardline. I always liked that there was player acceleration. Less arena shooter style dodging going on.

Hardline on PS4 and XB1 is a mess due to out of region players, causing servers to lag severely. It seemed OK on PC, however I was coming across servers outside N America on my server list even though I picked US west/US east.

Gunplay is an awful lot like MoH Warfighter, movement feels a bit Counter-Strike and the speed... ugh CoD speed!

Same things as BF4.. guy is looking one direction then all of a sudden is just shooting me. I know he's not cheating, I know it's just crap code.

I do feel like I'm getting downs much better though when I get hit markers vs BF4. I have to say I like that normal weapons hurt cars and choppers also like they should.

Way too many n00b tubes though, that was really all I was dying from was the the M320 and the M79

Is it me or do the graphics seem just meh? I've only played the beta for about 20 minutes or so, but even on Ultra settings I wasn't blown away at all by them. Felt a bit cartoony even.

For comparison, I'm currently playing Crysis 2 (yes, single player mode but still) and the graphics in Hardline aren't even matching that.
