There are a lot less tanks on the panzerstorm map. I think when I was playing our team only had one tank most of the time. They also spawn a lot less than they did before.
Agree 110% on the lack of vehicles, playing Conquest feels the same as Domination except the map is bigger. You hardly ever run into any armor because they are so few in number, plus being so weak that that usually get taken out as soon as they leave their spawn. I've noticed that on some maps (especially Devestation) that the tanks get ignored and no one will even take them because they are virtually useless.
They really need to fix this soon, because I doubt that there many people who buy a BF game to play Dom or TDM because there are other franchises that do a much better job on those. I like playing those modes occasionally just to break up the pace every now and then, but the big Conquest maps with tons of vehicles are BF's bread and butter and right now there are zero of those available in V.

A lot of people do prefer smaller infantry focused maps but not teeny tiny maps like COD has. BF gives us what we want.

Panzerstorm was advertised as an all out tank battle, but it's far from it. Its down right pitiful actually for a map that size to have no more armor than what it does. Twisted Metal and Arras are the only two decent maps in the whole game as of now.Panzerstorm and the bridge one with the marsh? A lot of people also just play the tanks forward too aggressively.
BF3 and 4's Noshahr Canals TDM map was perfect, I LOVED that map! Have you try the Frontlines mode?I also miss well made 3 flag 16v16 combined arms conquest maps. I don't r recall any since bf2 though. You'd usually get a tank, a Bradley, and maybe one additional armor at a cap point. Maybe a helicopter.

I missed out on 2142 and would also welcome something like that. I'm sure they will definitely make a modern one later.I'd take a 2143, 2142 is what got me hooked on BF games and have bought everyone since. But BF3 was amazing, I'd take an update of that too. But that's years away, time to enjoy BFV. January will bring us a major patch and march should bring new maps plus the squad battle royale mode and I think rush also.

I am excited for rush mode and new maps. I don't know about the battle Royale type gameplay as I didn't play much of it in cod or even stayed on long enough to play pubg.
The futuristic stuff only bothered me when they introduced it in cod and went crazy. I think it had a different feel in battlefield 2142 from what I've seen in videos. I did end up getting that tides of war m42 gun and while it fires quicker I prefer the gewehr 1-5 with 3x scope.Yeah I never played battle royale save fortnite for an hour and hated it. From what I read battlefield's BR mode will be squad only, of course, and I am excited to see how they do it utilizing classes and stuff if so. 2142 was epic IMO but a lot of BF fans hated it because, well, a lot of them thought that futuristic shit was just fruity or something.
This game is an absolute hack fest. Even with just an ESP on, its a huge advantage now with prone-field 5. I never been one to call wolf, but the amount of cheating in this game is appalling and with EA giving out subscription accounts like candy its now creating a boat load of risk free incentive for someone to create a new account.
Is it a trainer or a cheat? I only see players red shadows after I've been killed by them.ESP shows positions of players. You can see them behind walls, where they are coming from, and even their ranges and names. Prone-field is a new phrase to describe the game because most people are damn near invisible when prone and you get a good accuracy boost when doing os.
