Is it a trainer or a cheat? I only see players red shadows after I've been killed by them.

ESP is definitely a cheat, go to youtube and search for BFV ESP if you want to see them in action.

yeah dice said they will address some of the visibility issues in a patch. I agree that camouflage is part of war but I don't think I've ever encountered a bf where people blended in with the background this often and this much. hopefully they don't overdo it.

People can for sure blend in better in this game. Especially with all the hedges and such along the roads.

Im still amazed at how many people dont change their clothing to fit the map. Wearing black on a snow map? Not smart. Same for the other way around.

This game is an absolute hack fest. Even with just an ESP on, its a huge advantage now with prone-field 5. I never been one to call wolf, but the amount of cheating in this game is appalling and with EA giving out subscription accounts like candy its now creating a boat load of risk free incentive for someone to create a new account.

It is getting ridiculous and most aren't even trying to hide it, they need to get a handle on all the cheating because this game has enough going against as it is.

I switched to console earlier this year partly because of hacking. Mostly to play with friends but hacking was in the mix.

A lot of people seem to be dropping off. It's sad. But a big new patch is coming by the end of the month to fix lots of issues, balancing, hopefully 2 new game modes, new Tides of war, etc...

An update with new stuff is coming out soon. But honestly I don't even play if there isnt a Tides of War to go through. I am already leveled up to get all weapons, so there is nothing to try and achieve. The game is fun on its own yeah, but I am still trying to finish a few other games. And Anthem comes out soon, which will probably cut into this game's time.

I played the anthem alpha when they had it going on. I did enjoy that one a lot. Seemed like much more you could do and the mechanics worked really nicely.

The drop off over the past week has been pretty drastic. I play mostly in the mornings and lately the north american PC servers have been made up of 70-80% european and asian players with their trashy triple digit pings. Which probably also explains the recent increase in hackers.

New patch info is leaking out. SMG's are getting buffed. SOme other overall weapon and vehicle tweaks. Vaulting and mantling are being fixed. Footsteps are being fixed. Other animation fixes. Ragdoll fixes. Kill 'cam' improvements. Better awareness of where shots are coming to you from. Bipoded bonuses are being nerfed. Plus more not leaked.

First game on the new patch seemed to be going well...... right up until the crash to desktop mid round. LOL

Never once had a CTD on this game before, not even during the alpha or beta. But it really shouldn't be a surprise, DICE has never been known to fix anything without breaking something else. LOL

Footsteps are way too loud now, domination is way too short a round, frontlines is now a 16 man server vs 32, the kill cam is fine just a bit too long and a bit janky, just needs to be tweaked.

Will have to get back on and try it again at some point. I heard the smg's will get a buff. It's also odd that the tides of war didn't offer the medical anything good in terms of weapons.

For the kill cam, just have it skip if you hold down the right mouse button.

I do, since you need to win one as the final unlock.
Not a fan of the mode. The foot steps change really makes a difference too since there isn't as much going on. You run into a point and there's someone in some nook picking you off.

Yeah I didn't realize there was more. Luckily it's all done and I can go back to Grand Operations..

This is why i gave up on the entire BF franchise.
You can never beat hackers.
There is always someone out there smarter then any antihack company that claims to be fool proof.
Even having an admin watch you, can lead to false positives, or not getting caught.

Hence instead of stressing about it, i just don't play it.
If when i do play it, i do it for pure fun, and under the assumption that i will be against a hacker.

About the game, I can't play it right now. Origin is down, probably because of Anthem which came live at noon est today. I was planning on playing both... but EA strikes again. I did get through the entire Tides of War challenges yesterday in one sitting. Getting our shmuck of a squad leader to get 10 ammo canisters was terrible though. Time to get the PS4 through it now too.

This prob explains the random out of no where deaths i shook my head at.I would be prone in grass or in a ditch with grass near by and someone at a considerable distance would damn near instant kill me.Wasn't something i experienced in other BF titles or would have expected in BF5 given no one has constant doritoes over their heads at all given times.

I worry this may spread to the other BF titles if it hasn't already.If its done through modified drivers i am genuinely curious as to how any anti cheat could even pick that up?

I am not sure. The video claims that EA has already banned people for it. An an official EA response was that they are looking into it.

Like I mentioned, and the video talks about, its a muddy area. Its not a game modification, but a driver one. Editing files. Things PC gamers have done forever. Back when a 17" CRT at 4x3 was the most popular monitor, I edited .ini files from 90 FOV to 110. I just hated 90. 110 gave me more game viewing too. I could see more left and right and have a slight advantage. Which was an advantage over someone who didnt. Years later now its common to see the adjustment within the game.

Editing the drivers, to lower the graphics quality can be argued its not a cheat. Or can be argued it is. I dont like it, and have zero issues with people being banned as long as it doesnt break any user agreements. There are monitors that have a built in reticle for games like BF. It gives you a real bright red reticle to use when most guns have poor sights when not zoomed in. It helps shooting from the hip. There are so many things out there to give someone an advantage, unless a LAN it will never be even across the board.
