Battlestar Galactica finished?

The last season was horrible. It would've been better if they just had Tricia Helfer and Grace Park dance for an hour and rename the show the Helfer and Park talent show.

I'm glad they're waiting. Maybe by then I'll forget how bad this last season was. It'll take them a year to figure out how to end things with all they threw out there the last few episodes.

Actually, the rescue episode was pretty damn cool. Galactica jumping in and out of atmo, Pegasus kabooming two Basestars with ramming speed.....

i wouldnt say this last season sucked. but it was nowhere near season 1 and 2. hopefully this show gets back to its normal awesomeness for its last season

Apparently the spinoff "Caprica" is in the works, so that might be cool too.

It'll probably suffer the same fate as B5 Crusade.

Again it is only good news they have been gratingly forcing a 80% of the episodes at this point stretching the series out reducing the quality of the overall show. I think americans are getting sick of the number of commercials that run during these artificially extremely elongated shows. The final season will now be the best ever with hopefully no filler episodes whatsoever.

1. This isn't official.
2. Commercials? Who watches commercials with dvrs nowadays? Shows were 46 mins in the 80s.. now they are around 42-44.. nothing has changed.
3. Comedy/character development episodes are important.

Season 2 had some awful episodes... Overall I found 3 to be better than 2.

Season three was the worst season by far and on top of that it was so bad they should rename it Painkiller Jane, lol.

Season one - Edge of my seat
Season two - okay
Season three - boring vomitus


I believe that last statistic I read said that 70% of americans don't use DVR's yet. Prove me wrong.

I agree. Just like Lost this show needed a time frame in which to follow in order to complete the series.

I'd lose interest after 5 minutes, and then pick up again at the bottom of the hour.

Well the rumor before was that they had to fight just to get a fourth season.

I personally loved this season... especially how the music would change when the camera was on the Cylon ship. Made it very eerie. If there's one complaint, it would be that the Cylons have changed so significantly since the mini-series. The Cylons brought this atmosphere of unknown to the series, because you were always guessing who else was a Cylon... but now they humanized them so much. But that's normal, that IS the theme of the show... what makes humans, humans.

And like silverpig said, the last season comment was for Olmos... but the director himself has said it's not, and that Olmos has been saying 'it's the last season' since Season 1.
