Probably? Wouldn't you know not me?
With nVidia card if using DVI just go to NVCP and set Flat Panel Scaling Options
Change it to "Do not Scale" and play @ 1280x1024 (I don't know why you would want 1024x768 unless you are using 1440x900 native res)

Flat Panel Scaling ONLY works with DVI. Vista is where it is having some issues.
Certain monitors can do 1:1 on their own, otherwise you will need your GPU to do it.
What I stated (if working) will have your game cenetered @1280x1024 in the middle of your 1680x1050 monitor, bars on top and sides.
If you choose "Use Fixed Aspect Ratio Scaling" it will scale up to approx 1312x1050 without stretching horizontally

Change the 1680x1050 to whatever your native resolution is. There's no point in running 1024x768.

I used it for 2 years with no problem. the horizontal FOV is the same, the camera is effectively letterboxed and the HUD elements get stretched. Punkbuster doesn't care. There's even a true WS software fix that is already PB approved.
