So, I just looked at my credit card statement, and there was a strange $25 charge for a car rental I had back in August. Long story short, after much waiting on the line, rental car reps told me it was for a FastTrak violation.
I thought and thought about it, and then I remembered: there were two of us in the car, so when we approached the bridge during commute time, I took the FastTrak/Carpool lane and just cruised through.
Now FastTrak has slapped the rental company with the charge, and they passed it down to me. The rep said I should be getting a letter in the mail from FastTrak since they passed all the info to them. With the speed this charge was processed, the letter may as well come in June next year.
The question is: how do I fight this crap? Never had to deal with this before.
Thanks.
