I've never done a pm and coupon together before.... will they really let me pm AND use a 10% off coupon?? (the coupons from the magazines).

BB sells them for 199, and has a $50 rebate?
Compusa has them for $149

Why does BB pm at $149? Why don't they say "it's $149 after rebate, so it's the same price"

Logic doesn't apply when you are going to store to pm.
Just try to get the cashier to give you the lowest price by nonstop haggling.

Beats me... I still haven't figured this deal out and today's allegedly the last day of the deal.
I found a current rebate for z640's for $20 on logitech's site.
The 50 dollar rebate for the z560's was only good until 1/18/03 on the Best Buy site.

How is anyone going to get the $50 rebate to go through, since it expired last week? Or did I miss something once again??
Or is it regional or something?

My recommendation is not to trust Best Buy. They are a bunch of crooks! Their rebates never show up, get rejected or take 6 or more months to arrive. The only time I bother with their sale ad is when I can price match them over at Circuit City. They've screwed me and my friends multiple times.

yes, I was skeptical about the rebate also, hence my previous post requesting info from others who had supposedly got the rebate from the register. Question was, when does the rebate expire, cause the one that shows up online says it expired on the 18th. That's unacceptable for me. I need a REALLY hot deal to justify to MY WIFE. LOL. Sooooo........ after going to two different BB's on Wed. & Thurs. nite and unsuccessfully finding any Z560's IN STOCK( thier computers showed at least two) I was finally able to get a raincheck at one store. In my haste to get it , I noticed after we had left, and the store had closed, that the price on the raincheck was $199.99. I really wanted one that said $149.99. I had already explained the PM situation (CompUsa.) My wonderful wife had gone Friday & found 1 Z560 box on the shelf at a 3rd store, paid the $199.99, got the PM at customer service immediately after, and got the $10 gift card at checkout. Saved me headache & heartache after work, oh yea! We, pm'd to Compusa's $149.99 and a $50 MIR prints out at the register. The MIR expires 01-25-03. Must be mailed off by 02-25-03. Comes out to $94.99 plus we got $10 gift card coupon that can be found in "Family Fun" Feb issue page 34. The coupon is good till end of March 03-30-03. Good luck to all w/ the coupons etc. BTW, it seems like of the 4 stores we went to, only the first early on in the week, still had the shelf tag up. It looked like they were hiding these, pulled the shelf tags, and/or didn't have them in stock. We were told early on, "we get a load in tomorrow", when their loads actually came in Friday. Kinda like the hot deals on some of the hard drives. Sometimes they showed up, other times they didn't. Wierd.

A lot of times BB will have an unadvertised "sale" to match a CUSA price attempting to avoid pricematching.

just wanna say i got on the deal.. went to BB of Union Landing and they had one in the back.. asked them to pricematch to 99, but they were told it was 149 at the competitor.. i tok it anyway, so its 99 + tax after rebate!

You go boy. This is probably one of the best prices if not THE BEST price I have seen on these in last year or so, I may stand corrected.I have wanted these for a long time. I know I could not justify $400 bucks for the Klipsch (at least to my wife or my friends).I'm extremely excited about these. I hope others got in on a great deal as well. In addition to these, the Logitech Z540's went on sale Sunday 26th at OfficeMax. They can be price matched to OM and purchased at Staples for less than $20 after PM & MIR. maybe im retarded, but i had a hell of a time hooking these things up. Right now i can get sound out of 3/4 speakers...which is better than before 0/4!!
