I am glad I can provide you with some entertainment. Until we have a playoff in college football, rarely will the true nation champion be 100% correct. The BCS comes close but will not be 100%. KSU was unfortunately a team that could beat everyone they were supposed to but when it came to playing good teams, I would be surprised if they won 3 out of 20 games. They were overrated and overhyped and thus just were not a good football team despite their over bloated record every year. An 8-6 team is not great by any means no matter how you look at it.

I retracted when I saidi all HORRIBLE teams, it was in a post, but the fact remains most have been HORRIBLE nonetheless. I also said USC should have won at least 3 national titles in this decade but they have not. I would have loved to see USC play Florida last year instead of the overhyped OK team that ran the score up on EVERY team they played.

Talking football is fun !!!

Well, they managed to beat a USC team with Carson Palmer, Troy Polamalu, Justin Fargas, Oscar Lua, Sultan McCoullough, Marcell Almond, and about two dozen other future NFL players, so I wouldn't say they were that overrated.

It was fun to root for KSU but they just were not that good man, sorry. That must be 1 out of the 3 good teams they actually managed to beat.

Have you ever taken an IQ test or been evaluated by a psychologist? You are either crazy, or just plain stupid.

"With an 11?4 record in 2003, Kansas State became the only team in the country to win 11 games in six of the previous seven years, and just the second program in the history of college football to win 11 games six times in a seven-year stretch."

" The 1993 bowl game was the first of 11 consecutive bowl games during Snyder's 17 seasons at Kansas State. Kansas State went to bowl games every season from 1993?2003, one of just seven schools to do so. K-State won six of those bowl games."

"During the 1998 season, Kansas State posted an undefeated 11?0 regular season and earned its first ever number 1 ranking in the national polls"

KSU was overrated. Here you go. Lost to #10 A&M and then to unranked Purdue which was an ok team from the big 10 that year. Did not beat anyone higher than #11. They did not even play in a BCS game that year either, hooray Alamo Bowl. Shows just how much the BCS people thought of that #4 overrated team also.

As far as IQ tests, I actually scored rather well. I have a good sense of logic and reason. Keep insulting me and cussing at me because I find it amusing.

Apparently that sense of logic and reason doesn't translate to football knowledge.

Texas A&M beat two #1 teams that year, and were the Big 12 Champions. They needed two overtimes to beat KSU. That "ok" Purdue team was quarterbacked by a guy who goes by the name Brees. They were a little more than "ok".

So KSU loses one game by three in double overtime to the Big 12 champs, and lose by three to a top 25 team on a last minute drive led by Drew Brees and they are overrated? You are insane.

Purdue did not even win the Big 10 that year as they did not play in a BCS bowl game at all. Purdue was not even ranked until AFTER beating KSU in January. Do some research on stuff before you post things you apparently know nothing about (which seems to be a lot at this time). You comparing Drew Brees in college to Drew Brees in the pros at this time is a total joke. If he was great in college he wouldn't have lasted to the second round (pick one) that year. It appears only one QB was taken ahead of him, Vick, but every team passed on him after the #1 pick and fell to San Diego in the 2nd round.

Until you can come up with a plausible point-counterpoint discussion I will not bother replying to any more garbage you post. You obviously have no idea about college football. Keep pretending you do. Your Drew Brees point just nailed it on that.

Did you watch Drew Brees even play in college? He QB'd a worse than average team from perennial doormat to respectability surrounded by nothing more than a receiver that played with more heart than skill and a grind it out running back that got yardage through nothing but guts. His O-line was so awful that for most of his college career he lined up in shotgun and Tiller had them chop block on every single play because they were so overmatched. It's s good thing the draw play and screen pass were invented in the 70's or they would have had no shot at scoring. Oh and they had no defense to speak of, either.

The reason Drew Brees didn't get drafted until the second round was because of his height. Period. many draft boards had him as the #1 QB in that draft. He played behind Flutie, despite Flutie's bad season, because Doug was coming off a miracle season or two and was the fan favorite Comeback Kid.

Stats are a great way to back up a point, but stats can be twisted to say just about anything. K-State was that good. At one point they had three starting linebackers that went on to start in the NFL a couple of which were Pro Bowlers. In fact at one point they were probably the most talented team in the country. My work's internet filter blocks me from looking up sports related info, but I can Google and find some names for you a little later if necessary.

You're a great researcher, but there's just no substitute for actually watching the games.
