I feel like Christmas has come early tonight guys (VT Student).

What do you think they should look like. I like this:

1. LSU
2. VT
3. Ohio State
4. Georgia
5. Kansas

My reasons:

1. LSU has lost in Triple OT for their only losses. Granted they have been given 2 chances, AND they almost lost today, but they won the toughest division in NCAA Football- the SEC.

2. Outside of the LSU loss (Which the team was very injured for) we've been tearing through the opposition. We won the ACC and beat a very good BC team.

3. Ridiculously weak schedule. The Illini are ranked NOW at the bottom of the top 25. Other than that, they have played no one of mention.

4. Georgia, a very very good SEC team; however, they have 2 losses and DID NOT win their division.

5. Kansas-- just a ridiculously weak schedule. You can't have Kansas jump up the schedule when they have played worse teams than even Ohio State.

What do you think-- obviously I am biased towards my school, but my reasons are definitely legit ones.

-Kevin

Edit: This is, at this time, assuming that OU holds on and beats Missouri

Edit 2:

USA Today Coaches Poll and AP Poll are both up (AP doesn't count in BCS, waiting on Harris and BCS (7PM))

1. OSU
2. LSU
3. OU
4. Georgia
5. VT

1. Ohio State
2. LSU/VT

I'm kind of torn on #2 because LSU beat the dog shit out of VTech earlier in the year.

I can definitely see how LSU can jump VT--- but at the same time, the VT team was very injured and has gotten better. Meanwhile, LSU has gotten more injured and gotten slightly worse (Auburn and Kentucky beat them AND they almost lost tonight-- was not a convincing win)

-Kevin

Edit: I still don't think OSU deserves it :-\ -- they lost one game in a very weak Big 10 division.

hmmm... although VT was never upset by anyone else compare to the other 2-lost teams. i wouldn't put them in #2. this year is a good year with so many upsets...

so, with that said, i'd have

1. no body
2. osu
3. lsu/vt/okla
4. georgia
5. hawaii

Actually, we didn't beat LSU. They won on a last second TD. Also keep in mind Auburn/LSU is a rivalry game and those are a different animal (ask WVU about rivalry games )

Even if VTech was hit with the injury bug earlier in the season, that doesn't excuse the beatdown LSU laid on them.

I honestly don't think you can have OU jump from #9 to #2 though. Its just entirely too many teams. While I think Hawaii needs more love, I think they have the weakest schedule out of any of those teams, including OSU and Kansas.

Well you forgot the key to the bcs decision $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

VT and LSU will not be 1 and 2 because they played each other already.

So it WILL be:
1. OSU
2. USC/LSU/VT the other teams will take # 4 and 5
3. Georgia they didn't win their conference so they will get skipped by one of the above teams
6. Oklahoma

Oklahoma vs. UGA if you want to base it on how they've played lately. Maybe throw VT in there for OK.

You should be out celebrating that Ohio State doesn't have to play WVU. The Big Ten can't play defense against the spread option.

To add onto that, VT's losses were to LSU (ranked at time of play and still ranked) and BC (ranked at time of play and still ranked). LSU's losses were to UK (ranked at time of play and currently unranked) and Arkansas (unranked and still unranked).

I think LSU should make it in one spot. They beat 6 ranked teams, and both losses came in overtime situations.

The second spot is hard. I do not want VT because LSU already fucking blasted them and I don't want to see that again. Georgia is lame because they didn't even make it to their conference championship. OSU is weak and would get blasted like VT.

I'd like to see Oklahoma or USC play LSU but that isn't probably going to happen.

I think it will be OSU and Oklahoma but am praying that LSU or Georgia somehow gets it. I really can't see VT making it winning a weak ACC this year verse other teams that played harder schedules.

it might be hard for LSU to beat VT again, just ask BC... but then again, VT doesn't play well enough, ah if Michael Vick is still playing....

I love the SEC but fans like you with blinders on embarass me. Praying for UGA to get in? I know you're a Vandy fan and don't really understand football but you should at least win your conference division.

Honestly, I think the only team OSU should be scared to play was eliminated tonight (WVU). I like their odds against the remaining schools.

Haha-- I got a kick out of whatever sportscaster did that last year.

VT and LSU will not be 1 and 2 because they played each other already.

Is that an unspoken rule-- or is that actually true?

You can't throw Oklahoma up 8 ranks.

It's going to be Ohio State and LSU.

Ohio State will beat LSU.

I agree even though I hate it because LSU will absolutely destroy OSU.

...this may be the most crazy BCS I have ever seen.

I'd like to see Georgia get one of the top two spots just for the hilarity that would ensue. Not because UGA is a bad team but because of how it would really FUBAR the BCS that a team that didn't even play for its conference championship could play for the national title.

They'd almost be forced to move to at least a +1 system then.

LSU is one of the most undisciplined teams in the the country...no way do they destroy someone for the crystal. The only team I think that would crush OSU straight up would be WVU because of the spread option.

BC was never that good though. The only ranked teams they beat were VT, an overrated Clemson team, and a fraud GT team. They played Army, UMass, Notre Dame, and Bowling Green?
