Anyone else seeing the irony in a possible Les Miles - Jim Trussel Championship game?

I think LSU should be #1 and maybe OSU as #2. Really I think based on strength of schedule that Oklahoma deserves to be #2 well over OSU.

I think it would be awesome. Especially if OSU could come away with a victory, and then find out Les Miles will coach for Michigan and then next season Michigan proceeds to lose to OSU as well. Would be a great way for OSU to say "Welcome to OSU football!"

ah great, now I got myself all looking forward to something that is possibly not going to happen (both things).. hopefully OSU can play some smart ball, no matter who we play.
but damn that spread offense. it's annoying as fuck, and a sign of weaker offense. It's a way to be able to get away with a lot of things, mostly to cover up the fact that the offense can't get the job done by going at the game straight. either way, Buckeyes defense needs to get better at defending themselves from it, they tend to get raped by it.

I think OSU will beat LSU. I think lot of teams can beat LSU. LSU is lucky they played Tennessee today because Georgia would have beat em.

Still you have to look at LSU's D-Line which is ridiculously good. Their secondary can be a little iffy, but they have some of the best linebackers in the NCAA.

OSU has played literally no one. Look at their schedule. The only team that is still ranked that they played was Illinois-- and they are barely in the top 25 right now. LSU may be undisciplined but they have A LOT of talent.

Also keep in mind that VT BARELY lost to BC and definitely outplayed them the entire game. The prevent defense is what destroyed us at the end of the game.

You know there is one more wrench that would make this season end up perfectly.

LSU beats OSU in the championship to win the BCS with 2 losses.

Hawaii beats Georgia in the Sugar Bowl to legitimize it's claim as the only undefeated. This would be a lot different than last year's Boise State imho simply because the nat'l championship game did have at least one undefeated and the winner had only one loss as opposed to two this year (hypothetical).

We need a playoff.

I hope its OSU vs LSU. VT doesnt deserve to be there since they got spanked by LSU. Georgia doesnt deserve it either since they didnt win their division let alone the SEC. If any team deserves it other than LSU its Oklahoma.

Seems very likely, they're #15 right now and will move up at least two spots thanks to Tenn and BC losing, Florida can't go to a BCS game because Georgia and LSU will both be in the BCS, and Kansas and Oklahoma will be BCS games as well so that means Missouri can't be, leaving Illinois trumping Arizona State so that the Rosebowl can be a traditional Pac10 vs. Big10 game with USC vs. Illinois
