Be careful with MWave.com "hot combos"!!!!

I've never had any problems with MWave and I use them almost exclusively unless somewhere else has a much better price including shipping. I like the fact that MWave charges actual (fair) shipping rates. Also, I had to RMA an OEM video card and didn't have any problems with the process at all. In fact, they even shipped the replacement before I returned the defective card!

Hmmm... strange. I;ve ordered from Mwave 50+ times and never a problem. I screwed up once when ordered a PCI V3 2000 instead of a AGP V3 3500 and they exchanged it with no questions asked.

I like many of the posters here have never had a problem with MWave. I have ordered 3 motherboards from them and always paid a fair price, was shipped quickly and everything was in perfect working order. Sorry you got screwed.

I ordered an AMD 1.2 Thunderbird and Asus A7V133 combo from MWave.com about 10 days ago.

There prices through pricewatch.com are cheaper. Find there advertised price on pricewatch.com and they tell you to put it in the comments section when ordering. My order when through with the discounted price immediately (no need to wait for them to credit back the difference).

The board was retail boxed but open because they mounted the CPU on it. All cables and documentation were still sealed in there bags. The AMD Thunderbird CPU came with a coolermaster fan (there model # ACHK7-A).

Prices for Asus A7V133 with T-birb 1.2Ghz were:

MWave Pricewatch prices: $427.00

gooseman, thanks and yes I was surprised because many people have good things to say about them. This last one with the MSI K7T Pro mobo was the last straw for me though, they made it seem like they had no responsibility towards this problem and that my options to resolve this were to simply take it or leave it. I'll leave it and stop dealing with them, simple as that. I'm glad others say they're not getting this kind of treatment, but I still feel that it's my duty to speak up if someone asks you know?

Da,MWave este o foarte buna companie.Am cumparat de la ei diferite lucruri si toate au fost in stare ireprosabila.Este una dintre putinele compani de pe web pe care te poti baza.Probabil ca ceea ce ti sa intamplat tie este un caz izolat sau o greseala grosolana a vreunui dobitoc din warehouse.Oricum eu iti urez mult succes in rezolvarea problemei.

Has anyone been to the "will call" section at mwave? Man, the lady that works there is a bi0tch! Well anyway, my experience at mwave has been excellent and unless I find a store that is closer to my area with better prices, I will be shopping there for a long time.

Ordered from them twice, had to return the first time because I had problems with the motherboard, my fault. Ordered again last week, had problems with the order, had to cancel, credit card was charged anyway, now waiting for a credit back to my bank. It's been a little over a week. They're not bad, they have good prices, but their customer service sucks. I'd spend a little more and probably go somewhere else next time.

I have had great luck with Mwave, running a combo right now but yes I did get a cheapo fan with my processor but what do you expect they have the cheapest prices on the net. I bought a KT7 RAID which came with the book and all of the cables, sounds like a mix-up if they shorted you on the cables.
