Seriously....why?

It's one thing to have a vendetta against the US, it's another thing to take it out on ~4000 civilians who don't have anything to do with you or your problems.

No country could ever 'deserve' that, and there's no possible situation where a nation that endured this sort of thing "had it coming." It's the work of the cowardly, ignorant, and insane. Nothing more than that.

Everyone has the right to free speech, but they also have to be aware of consequences from what they say. Also I do have to say, we had no right to get what got and I think anyone would agree with that, but our troops in Saudi Arabia did make him get his rod up his ass? but the problem with him, and Hitler is, that anyone who thinks that they know the right way to run the world and they are right, everyone else is wrong type of mentality are a danger to the rest of the population.

ya the civilian does not deserve it, but someone haas to pay the price.

It's ironic that only American ,British, adn few other countires are surprised. Most of the country around the world saw it coming sooner or later. We just don't say it, since U.S. is oh so "strong and powerful"

<< Is going to get punched in the mouth. >>

is that what happens to people who express their opinion nowadays? In that case, GodBlessTheUSA (pun intended)

PS. Anyone interested in a wager? $50 says that some idiot will missinterpret my post and will think I said america deserved it. sad....

I agree that the deliberate targeting of civilians goes beyond any act of war. But it's only a few steps below the launching of a cruise missle (from a couple thousand miles away), having it miss it's target, then blame it on poor data entry as it hits a civilian area.

And don't forget the experiments that our own US government conducted on it's population for the sake of knowledge; done without the knowledge/consent of the people (when they wanted to see how sexually transmitted diseases affected black males, they deliberately gave half the men placeboes instead of medicine, then tracked the diseases as they progressed.) And remember all those pictures of soldiers and school kids watching the early nuclear testing??? Those people were deliberately allowed there for the purpose of seeing how radiation affected people; nor were they informed or even asked if they wanted to participate.

No, the deliberate targeting of cilivians is cowardly and terrible; but our hands are not so clean either.

Your one point has absolutely nothing to do with the other. How do you see that?

marty, you maniac, are you saying that we deserved it? how dare you!

Everyone has the right to free speech, but they also have to be aware of consequences from what they say.

this is true, but i feel that threats of physical violence are unacceptable consequences, given the strong emphasis our country has on freedom.

Hey, instead of talking a mean game why don't you do something about it and join the Armed Services. If you are lucky you just might get the chance to kick some real Terrorist ass and I can assure you that nobody would think you are all hot are like they might now.

I guess you must be really proud of yourself for being such a good patriot. What purpose what hitting someone serve, assuming you can even muster the strength to do so?

the point is based on the attack focusing on civilians. My point is that our own government has done the same thing. Very difficult to take the moral high ground or to call someone else cowardly, for doing the same thing. Where we did it with non-existant drugs, they chose airplanes. In both cases non-military civilians were targeted.

We intentionally target civilians? Are you smoking crack or are you just stupid?
