Seriously, believe me: I love almost all comedies.

Whats wrong with this movie is that at the beginning the story is fresh and exciting, halfway thru it they begin to get the meat of the movie where the funny stuff happens, then it all goes downhill and tries to get preachy and lame. The end of the movie becomes some lame "feel-good" movie when they should of just stuck to the slapstick stupidity of the main characters

Much the same way the movie "Accepted" did. Cool concept and great idea, but the best parts of the movie are done when its halfway over. Then the end it becomes preachy and tries to deliver a message.

So it sounds like it's at least kind of worth it... just disappointing that it ends on a sour (good) note?

No, it wasn't even a comedy...

If you're expecting to go in and see how the characters parody a bunch of movies prepare to be surprised when it's not that.

And if I had known Danny Glover was in it, I wouldn't have went at all.
