I don't see how a size 12 is considered "plus" or "queen sized". I know I lost a bunch of weight and enjoy my new body and all, but I mean, I'm a size 8 or 10 depending on the make of the garment and my hip bones stick out and stuff.

i think that the way the OP defined what he was looking for was mis-represented.

Pants size has to do with height as well. Im 4'11 with a small bit of weight so I wear a size 5. My mom is the same weight as me, but 5'4 and she'll wear a size 8/10. She needs the bigger sizes apparently she says because of the length of pants and just the fit. I definitly don't classify myself as skinny, but I fall under the "size 6" rule you're looking for despite i have some weight to me, where as some women with flat stomachs and what not fall under size 8/10.

And for whomeever said about flip-flopping between being women/juniors/women/juniors.. it doesnt work that way. You can buy clothes labeled "5/6" "7/8" The waist on a size 5 jean is usually the same as a size 6 jean. it then jsut depends on the cut you want. low rise/high rise.. baggy/ not baggy.. Usually denim items will be found in the 5/7/9's.. and the business outfits and nicer dressy stuff come in the 4/6/8's..

And to whoever posted Suki (Melisa McCarthy) Excellent choice. Sarah Rue was very pretty as well when she weighed a bit more. She's recently dropped a great deal of weight and gotten rid of her beautiful red hair, but she was very pretty looking and plus sized.

i agree... i think there are MANY women that have great bodies that are not a size 1, however, there are some times i think that the women that are NOT size 6 or less are not healthy... and that annoys me.... It is not ok to be over weight because you are too lazy to not eat healthy or work out.
