Becareful of OfficeMax / Hi-Val rebates.....

I bought the advertised 100pack Hi-Val CDR's from OfficeMax some 3 months back and no one has responded back to me regarding my rebate. Neither have I recevied my check nor any correspondance from them. I must have sent more than 10 e-mail and must have called them more than 15 times.

Just a head's up for all the guys who are waiting for these rebate checks to come....

No more OfficeMax / Hi-Val deals for me. Burnt my fingers once....

Man, I was getting ready to thread-crp this one, but remembered two things: One, we were asked to be nice this year. Second, I remembered I bought this junk from OMax as well. The CDR's were terrible and I want my rebate!! OM's rebates are just terrible.

Did this deal back in Nov with No Rebate yet.
Also got a 52X DRT CDROM @ BB in AUGUST with no rebate yet!
Called with help BB rebate center and told "unexpected huge response, we are behind in rebating, be patient"
Guess their pyramid scheme, rob Peter to pay Paul is a little behind.:disgust:
