Like Bigfoot, I am hard to get a clean pic of, for I live in the out of focus zone. You can thank whatever gods you pray to for that small mercy. The last time I posted a pic of me in one of these threads, I was in my mid to late 30s and had blonde hair, that was probably close to 20 years ago. This is one of the more recent pics of me. We were doing promotions for a few students. All done in the garage dojo thanks to Covid.

Why yes, yes I did. Ashi Bari is bread and butter for Shotokan karate sparring. As the former UFC Light Heavy Champ performs here.

If the new Karate Kid hasn't convinced you Daniel was not just the bad guy, but a super douche, nothing will. Even the improvised version of nidan geri he hit Johnny with for the winning point was illegal, as Johnny points out repeatedly.

Give this old thread a bump, in case any other members want to act like they are on social media. Seeing as most of us don't use it much.

Sherman, set the way back machine to the mid 1980s. We are visiting the fighting surf mullet. I think I weighed 178lbs for that fight. I was 17 or 18yrs old. My opponent does not appear in the second pic because he was still getting medical treatment. I sent him to the shadow realm. He should have touched gloves with me. It made me spicy that he didn't. So when I knocked him out, I used my forearm to hold him up on the ropes so I could hit him with a couple of blistering right hooks before I let him crumple to the canvas.

He looked worse than Rocky in the first movie. They had some dumb rule about only being permitted 3 pieces of tape when wrapping our hands. Probably because cheaters were making their fists into bricks with it. Anyways, it resulted in the wraps moving around and exposing my knuckles. We were wearing 14oz and I could feel my knuckles on his face. It hamburgered his face in the 3:26 minutes the fight lasted. He had pillow fists so I took no damage.




I will post more if any of the "ones of people" left around here, wants to see them.
