1. What YOUR PC will be used for. That means what types of tasks you'll be performing.
Gaming

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread
$800-900

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.
USA

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc.
No affiliation

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
I have windows 7, and $125 to Bestbuy that is NOT included into my budget so some extra wiggle room(giftcards)

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Looked for some but the giftcard situation has made things trickier, I dont know what best has a good deal on

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.
Probably default

8. What resolution YOU plan on gaming with.
Confused about this question, whats the norm now-days? Like I said out of the game recently. I'll be using my 22' monitor... If that helps?

9. WHEN do you plan to build it?
Whenever I assemble all the parts I want to buy

10. Don't ask for a build configuration critique or rating if you are thin skinned.
Don't worry I'm a trooper

Edit:

11) I don't really like expensive cases, I feel they are a waste. I would also like to get an SSD into this build if at all possible, perhaps sacrificing some GPU or CPU power for it. I do not need a 1TB HDD either, ~320 gigs or better works just fine for this system (I have other storage solutions). So you could save money in the budget there too

Anyone have any builds that would make sense for me?

Wait a few days and see how this Sandy Bridge thing plays out, for the money the 2500K/2600K processors are still the best bang for the buck...Figure at least $350 for 2500k and MB...

With your Best Buy money, maybe put it toward something that you won't have to add funds to (because NewEggs prices just blows the place away). Maybe use it for HDD and Optical drives...

$49 for GB of ram, about 100 for 8GB...

$100+/- for a case...

Still leaves you $$300-400 for a nice GPU and PSU...

I would have recommended Sandy Bridge, but it seems like everyone paniced and pulled the mobos. I can't see spending money on a slower i5 7xx unless you need it right now.

Case is fine, OCZ PSU's arent good (in my experiences idk about this one specifically). You want a PSU that can deliver most (or all) of the watts directly to the +12v rails. So if you have a 750w PSU a good one would deliver a MAX of 740w to the +12v rail(s). Remember that doesn't leave you with only 10w on everything else though as it can use less the rail you just want a theoretical high. BUT you want your +12v rail to be able to handle about what your PSU is rated at (as your larger components go on the +12v) something like this. That PSU for example has a total output of 850w 125w on the +3.3v rail and +5v rail and 840w on the +12v rail. That gives your +12v rail a possible of 840w of power to be drawn. Look for this kind of information when looking at PSU's dont JUST look at the watts. Also Amps are a concern but if you stick with Antec, Seasonic, (some) corsair you should be fine.

The OCZ PSU is crap, the Six Hundred is fine. The 6870 is fine, it's a bit slower than the GTX 560 Ti for a bit less money. The PSU and RAM combo is a no-go because the RAM is 1.65V.
