False, you say? Not hardly. Alcohol is a poison. The body recognizes it immediately and begins processing alcohol, trying to expel it from your system. The calories you are consuming (which, BTW, are empty and of zero nutritive value) will be fully utilized before any other calories you've taken in. That's why the jock drinking 4 or 5 pitchers every night with his buddies while sucking down baby carrots and celery sticks is still gaining weight.
