I've been told that people who drinks Foster's get made fun of. Blech what a sh!tty beer....but it's only $1.00 at the Orlando Ale House, so I've had a good amount.

I'm pretty new to the drinking world, even though I'm 26 (got a late start, but better late than never, right?)
Stuff I tried and liked:
Shiner Bock - probably my favorite
Sam Adam's Ocotoberfest
Sunshine Wheat Beer
Bass Pale Ale
Miller High Life
Grolsch - when not skunked
Boulevard Wheat
Stuff I tried and disliked:
Dead Guy Ale
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale - that stuff is vile
Harp
Dos Eques Amber
Looking for recommendations, or hell just list your favs and tell me if you think I will like them.

Sounds like you like beers that emphasize malt over hops. Stick with German light lagers, English Bitter, ESB (Extra Special Bitter), and Belgians. Stay away from West Coast Pale/IPA.
Bodington's Pub Ale is a good ale along with Young's ESB. Fat Tire is a decent Belgian. Coors makes two poor excuses for "real" beer - Blue Moon (Belgian Wit) and Killian's Irish Red...neither are good examples of the real deal. Hoogarden White is a better Belgian Wit and Boulevard Irish Red is a good example of a red. You'll probably like any weiss bier (German wheat). Erdinger is the best I've had so far but Paulaner and Spaten are also good.

Hey broon, thanks for the info. Killian's Irish Red (from a bottle) was one of the first I tried. I wasn't impressed with it, but I will pick up some Boulevard Irish Red next time I get the chance (I'm in Missouri, Boulevard is everywhere here).

Mmmm beer.
Sam Adams Cream Stout
Sam Adams Boston Ale
Killian's
Amberbock
Fat Tire
Guiness
Shinerbock
Schlafly Pale Ale (since you're in Mo)
Blue Moon (don't be too scared if they serve it with an orange slice)
And a side note...I think Boddington's is some of the worst beer I've had. It was completely flat and tasted to me like a Natty Light opened 3 days ago. Everyone's taste is different though....more Boddington's for those who do like it I guess!

I wouldn't put anything made by Bud/Miller/Coors (Killians, Amberbock, Blue Moon) in the same class as the others you listed. The big three will use a style as part of the name but it really doesn't represent that style. Schlafly is only available in the Eastern part of the state (I've never found it West of Columbia).

Where in Missouri? I'm in KC. Unfortunately Boulevard Irish Red is only available around St Pat's day. Their Nutcracker should be available soon and would be worthy.

I'm in Columbia. My roommate bought some Schalfly the other day, so I'm going to have to try it.
